i was just wondering if you went into a modified tournament, could you use a double colorless energy from either base set or base set 2? probably not but i need to know for sure.thanx! [Devilish]

Nope.

Modified currently consists of cards from the following sets:

Neo Genesis (except this Slowking and Sneasel)
Neo Discovery
Neo Revelation
Neo Destiny
Southern Islands Collection
Legendery Collection
Expedition
Aquapolis
Blackstar Promos #21+ (excpet ________'s Pikachu and Ancient Mew)
Best of Play Promos

I think thats all of them. Unless Double Colorless Energy is re-released as a BoP Promo, its illegal.

and if the resurrection of all the cards that once dominated the game play(ie Hitmonchan, Electabuzz) continuing, I wouldn't be surprised if they brought back DCE too.
Imagine what the RH DCE would look like......

I don't know-too many Pokemon gain from DCE-I doubt it would be rereleased.
