AQ Furrets power reads this:
Scavenger Hunt
Once during your turn (before you attack), you may put 2 cards from your hand into your deck. Then, search your deck for an Energy card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Can't be used if Furret has a special condition.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but the way the power is worded makes it so that you can choose to put no cards into your deck and still search for the energy. I've asked other people about this question and they agree so I decided to post this.

I agree with your interpretation. it says YOU MAY choose two cards. Seems like you could choose none.

Hey Drew,

Yea, your thought process flows exactly as mine does on this topic. Considering I'm one of those "people that agreed with you prior to posting." [Wink]

Now unlike Scizor (rolls eyes), this card needs errataed. It's clearly evident that it was misprinted unlike Scizor. (rolls eyes again) If you can just choose not to shuffle cards into your deck and search for any energy card every turn, well then, that's just too broken, unlike Scizor mind you. And speaking of which...isn't this Scizor's popular counterpart?

"Hey I can now choose not to shuffle any cards from my awesome hand of a Scizor, 2 more Metal Energies, 3 Rainbow Energies, a Double Gust, and two Gold Berries! Yay!" ~Any cookie-cutting Scizor player.

No, getting the card is dependant on shufflling the cards in, just like you have to get heads to evolve with Discovery Metapod's hatch.

Just like Expedition Blastoise, Expedition Feraligatr, Dark Pupitar, and Neo Discovery's Metapod, you must do the first part in order to do the second part.

Well I'm pretty sure the may part is there because otherwise, it would mean you HAVE to put 2 cards back into the deck EVERY TURN. Like the guys alrady said, you do 1 part, then the next.
