I have a fairly "new" deck, a slight update of an old "archetype": Damage Swap (or Wall Stall, etc.). Wobuffet looks to be the best bet for an inexpensive attacker that makes use of Alakazam's abilites. So should I run the Wobbuffet E-42-# of Skyridge or the older Wobbuffet Lv46 from Neo Discovery? For those who need to know what they do and can't get the links to work, both are Psychic Pokemon with a Psychic Weakness. The new Skyridge version has 70 HP, a Poke-Body, Mirror Coat, that will Poison or Burn the opponent's Defending Pokemon if it Posons or Burns Wobbuffet. It has an attack, Return attack, that does 10 times the amount of damage counter that are on Wobbuffet for one Psychic and one colorless energy, but only if you get at least one heads. The Neo Discovery version has 20 more HP (so 90), one more retreat (so 3) and an attack, Counter, that will do the amount of damage your opponet's active pokemon does next turn to that active Pokemon for one Psychic energy and heads on a coinflip. I currently plan on using two of each for the deck. Suggestions?

If you plan on running 2 of each, I would stick to that.. YOu can metagame to which ever deck your opponent has... If they have a gatr.. Counter of Cours is the way... If Crobat, I would say SR for the Poisoning situation... With all of the Grass starting to come back, weird how that works huh, a 2-2 on them isn't a bad Idea.. But if it is for Pure Stalling, 90HP Counter wins IMHO. Are you really going to retreat him?? Not until your bench is up and going right.. so why worry about retreating?? Switch works just Fine.. PLus, FTKO against a Tyrogue with Dbl Heads Flips is nice!!!

Theya re for both offensive, defense, and a place to "store" damage until I can either swap it to a more useful place (like moving them from N2 Ffet to E3 Ffet to power up return attack), or to an unpowered Pokemon for Poekmon Center, or to an unpowered Baisc for Sccop-Up.

And since you'll have a Psychic deck going, why not throw in Gengars from LC? Getting three on the Bench means 3 damage counters get sent to your opponent's Pokemon a turn... perfect for killing the Tyrouge before it comes out to attack!
-------------------- Best Decks Kurai Tsuki no Kokoro Dark Ampharos/Dark Espeon 31-7
Kage Ha! Dark Scizor 8-0
Elm, Oak, Cleffa and Copycat are archetypes.
YGO Deck: Yukai na Shi ni yotte Ryu Pleasant Death by way of Dragon 25-8

Ummm... not. LC Gengar moves one damage counter per turn from one of your opponent's Pokemon to another of your opponent's Pokemon. You can't move from one of yours to one of your opponent's.

And I am already pressed for space: I had to struggle to find room for a Stadium. Finding room for another Stage 2 line is out of the question.

^_^ I was thinking about using wobb+zam a while ago (till I mentioned it and everyone just insulted me =/)
It's a poke since you can be knocked out and still deal back good damage
Although the sky-ridge one can go well if you put a gold berry on it, fill it up with damage counters and then attack....
Yea it's a better idea to play 2 of each.
Pretty simple though; if you see heavy hitters; bring out the Neo-Dis Wobuffet. If you see status, go with the Sky-Ridge one ![[Smile]](../tcg/smile.gif)
