It should. If you have a Politoed and use Aerodactyl/Recall to use Poliwhirl's Bubblebeam (Expedition edition), it counts as "Politoed's attack" and would therefore work with Frog Song.

Maybe.
From the oracle:
quote: Pokémon Power: Prehistoric Memory Whenever an Evolved Pokémon attacks (even if it’s your opponent’s), it can use any attack from its Basic Pokémon card or any Evolution card attached to it. It still has to pay for that attack’s Energy cost. This power stops working while Aerodactyl is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
The problem is Politoed's power obviously didn'd have this in mind, and Aerodactyl's power does not in any way transfer the attack to Politoed- it just lets you use them. Compare to Sabrina's Alakazam's Psylink power:
quote: Pokémon Power: Psylink Sabrina’s Alakazam always has a copy of every attack your {P} Pokémon in play have (including their Energy costs and anything else required in order to use those attacks, such as discarding Energy cards). This power can’t be used if Sabrina’s Alakazam is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
(emphasis mine)
It really boils down to how picky the MTs want to get. [ December 21, 2002, 09:56 AM: Message edited by: yoshi1001 ]

I don't see a problem...
It is the evolved pokemon that is attacking its just using an attack from an earlier stage.
Pokémon Power: Frog Song Whenever Politoed’s attack damages the Defending Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance), if there are more than 3 Poliwags, Poliwhirls, Poliwraths, and/or Politoeds in play (including your opponent’s), that attack does 40 more damage (no matter how many heads you get). This power stops working while Politoed is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed
They could have said explicitly Whenever Politoed's DoubleSlap........ but they didn't so I'd let it pass..
Also the rule on self-referencing would require the name Politoed to be substituted by This Pokemon if it were being copied so my 2cents has it the the MTs would rule in Politoed's favour and allow the additional damage

As I said, the problem basically boils down to whether the power expands to other attacks. The writing obviously did not have this in mind. Offhand, I would allow it, but with new TMs, it bears asking.
