O.K I know that there has been a few topics on this. however, they dont seem to answer the following though.
scenerio 1---their pichu facing my jumpluff with a damage counter. i also have 2 more on the bench with damage counters. exactly how would this work?
We played it like this. my opponent declared the attack. I then flipped for the fluff power. if heads, the attack was prevented alto gether. if tails, the active jumpluff took 20 damage. then i preceeded to roll for the benched jumpluffs. if tails they would take 20 as well.
was that right?
Their murkrow facing my jumpluff with a damage counter. i also have 2 more on the bench with damage counters. if they feint attacked the active it would get thru the power. however, if he tried to hit a jumpluff on the bench with counters on it, would i be able to roll to prevent that?
There are going to be several more scenerios for this card. If possible, please use this post to ask all questions regarding jumpluff. If you are the person answering these questions. check back often! with the SBZ coming we are going to need these scenerios answered.
thanx, jimmy

Scenario 1. It was just ruled yesterday that it doesn't prevent effects to the bench only itself.
quote:
Auqapolis Jumpluff's PokeBody - Does it block the entire attack (such as with Tyranitar's Trample) if it is on the bench and flipped Heads for the PokeBody? master_trainer_pat says, "Jumpluff just prevents the damage and other effects of attacks." master_trainer_mike says, "Done to itself only!!!!!" master_trainer_mike says, "It does NOT prevent the effects form the attack to others!" master_trainer_mike says, "It just protects itself."
Scenario 2. Feint Attack would go through if they attacked the active. However, if they attacked the bench, you would be able to flip. Much like the Unown D vs. Murkrow ruling.
Hope this helps.

master_trainer_mike says, "It just protects itself."

Each Jumpluff has its own flip in this case.
