I don't get it. Obviously, there is a strategy behind this card.

What confuses me is that the Pokemon Power occurs before you attack. What is the use of having a "warp" occur before you attack? I understand Donphan. You attack and then hide out--putting up a pokemon that resists your opponent--or has no energy--or a baby with a focus band--etc. But, with Tsunami, the opponent switches his or her Pokemon before you attack.

But, the Feraligatr with Tsunami is doing well. Please explain this. Thanks.

Hi. Well I play EX Gatr so I'll try to explain the use of Tsunami.

First of all, its a free switch. If you're still building, just evolve to Gatr, Tsunami, and keep him safe until its done.

Secondly, its a great tool with Double Gust. Lets say you have a Croc, a Gatr, and a Cleffa with the Gatr active. You just KO'd their big hitter and they are building another. Tsunami, bring up Croc, and DBG up the new guy. If played right, Gatr is basically free retreat in a way.

Lastly, if the opponent only has 1 benched pokemon, just Tsunami it up and thats a free DBG. For exmaple, if they have a Baby active and a Basic on the bench.

Its a great power and can really mess up the opponent. If played right, its almost like unlimited DBGs.

Hope that helped.
