Misty's Gyarados works well.
Also try using those Legendary Pokemon in Aquapolis(?) that forbid you from attaching energy from your hand.
Those are just a few cards that Muk helps by disabling their nasty powers.

If you want a great deck with Muk, use it with Clefable.

Muk helps kill off DItto in Unlimited and Magcargo's Power (as if anyone used it). Other good uses are:

Disabling Elekid
Delcatty
Harvest Bounty Venusaur
Energy Trans Venus.
Charizard
Aerodactyl

Another thing I thoguht up was to use it with the AQ Muk, as that Muk Posions and BUrns, but with a G Energy attached, it has Retreat of CCC, but the old Muk will cancel that, makign it a Special COndition 1 Retreat.

Or if you want, you could team it with Magby of Neo Genesis, this for cases for an absence of grimer or Muk in the beginnig of the game or if Magby is gusted you still shut all active pokemon powers in play because muk is around. Not to mention the baby power on Magby!!! [Big Grin]

Wrong - the "baby Power" is not a a power at all. it is a RULE, meaning nothing can get around it. Muk doesn't affect it because it isn't a Pokemon Power at all, just s rule on a baby Pokemon.

Muk should combo nicely with that very nasty poison+paralyze coming-into-play power on Beedrill.

I was planning on using Poliwrath's plunge poképower to get me out of the mess that Beedrill can cause except that my pesky 'wraths kept hiding in my prizes [Frown] Oh well c'est la vie. Had my opponent had Muk in play too I wouldn't have even been able to put up a limited fight.

With Muk you can upset your opponents scizor furret deck. Gatr/Sect will struggle, Entei/Cargo is untouched. But Muk isn't a must play component of most decks its more like tech to be used if required, especially with so many decks using non-holo dogs as defense against double gust.

Muk+Chaos Gym could be fun in unlimited...use sneasel wiggly chancey clefable for offense and muk to upset the slowking players. Your opponent may be forced to focus their offense against your muk rather than the main hitter. Its always nice to give yor opponent some difficult choices [Wink]

Dark Llama, the last sentence implies that Magby's baby power would help it continue to stay for a while in the game to use its sputter attack to stop all pokemon powers until the end of your next turn while Muk is not yet in play!!!!
[teach]

I know that Muk's toxic gas does not shut the baby power!!! [Bored]

And finally I emphasized in my first sentence that Magby can be teamed up with Muk and not against it!!! [Bored]

This really makes my head roll over and over...!!! [ROFL]

For Muk.....
Here i have a idea for stoping opporent trainer combo with Muk...
Use Dark Vileplume to stop trainer both...Then evolve Muk when u would like to use trainer
Then use hyper Devolution Spray to Devolve Muk to activate Dark Vileplume power again!
The advanage i think is....
Both are using Grass energy also they are having a different weakness. But this combo is quite slow i think....

Raymond Lalic: To be fair to The Dark Lama, he was probably confused by the combo as well: simply put, does it really make sense to run Magby for one turn of power blocking? In a good Unlimited deck, you should always be able to ahve a Muk ready to go by your second turn. Now, what if they do have a first/second turn Pokemon Power you need to shut off, I recommend Goop Gas instead. It's a Trainer that shuts off all powers until the end of your opponents next turn. So you can use it first turn, then evolve to Muk (second turn too if they run Aerdactyl). Othwerise, Sputter is redundnat: Toxic Gas is already shutting off powers the whole time.I can only think of one deck against which it could be possibly useful to have both: Dark Vileplume (or Slowking)/Aerdactyl/Murkrow. But thena gain, warp energy and a strong back up attacker will
help there too.

I think that dark Muk might aslo e good... but in that case, Muk itself is essentially TecH, for decks that have Powers that hurt Dark Muk (like Turbo Snorlax). [Razz]
