i have 2 rainbow energies, 1 is the newer one that states it coutns as any type of energy but only provides 1 at a time. I took that as it can be counted as a dark or steel energy

my other rainbow energy is the older one that states it counts for one of any type of BASIC energy card....im pretty sure the first one was issued BEFORE dark and steel type energies existed. even tho it says any basic energy, can it be legally used for dark and steel as well now that they've come around? or is the older one useless for dark and steel?

help me pleeeez

Ok, ALL Rainbow Energy cards are to be played as the Aquapolis version, EVEN the older ones.

Here is the scan of Aquapolis Rainbow

Meaning, regardless of which you use, it counts as if it were the above scan.
Also, yes, they can provide basic Darkness and Metal Energy, just minus the effects.
