I'm still just a bit confused. Would it be okay to evolve Magby or Tyrogue into Magmar ex or Hitmonchan ex ?

--------------------
"Dark Alley" Ver 1.4 (Bench ATK)
18-5-2

Hypno/ D. Gengar
23-1-0

Gengar/ Mewtwo EX
3-0-0

I can see you're next move... and it won't work.

I read this in the pokemon tcg site that says
"Because Pokemon Ex are different dont evolve into normal stage 1 or 2 pokemon.
But I dont know if this applies to from baby to Ex. [Confused] [Confused]

What about the Wailord, Thyploshion and Raichu EX how are they gonna evolve?

Until we hear otherwise, the answer would be no.
Just like with Gym Leader Pokemon or Dark Pokemon, you have to match the exact name and since EX Pokemon have EX in their name, it is not a match.

Now, if a Baby is released that says "evolves into [Pokemon] EX", then you could evolve into that.

They'll evolve from the normals of previous evolutions.
