Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

MD regionals

SuperWooper, on the same day as the VA SC, there was an SC in Delaware and North Carolina. We got 130 players, including people from Florida.

Some perspective, MD States 07 at this location had 107 people. So it is not hard to fit 100 people there but it will be crowded enough that you will want to put your backpacks, etc in the car before round 1. Although at a different location, MD states this year had 93 people. However, the '08 venue did not have its own league. Dream Wizards has a very good league and I expect a lot of their players will be at the tourney to represent it.

I predict this event will have atleast 110 players, but if it's an estimation game then I my guess will be 124 players :thumb:.

MD states 07 was very crowded. I'm not saying they can't fit 100 people in there. I'm just saying it starts getting very crowded. Let's just say you won't have much elbow room.

True.

Since I won't be judging, there will be more time to address the people who are always calling my name and more opportities for those who share my name to look around in confusion

Yes, the dream wizards league is very strong in all three of the age divisions especially the junior and senior and we will be sure to represent :D. As for us masters we are strong as well but i know that a couple of them will be judging.

LIES, ALL OF THIS IS LIES!!!

I'll make sure the rockville masters don't do well.

;D haha we will see... my deck should put up a strong match against yours if we face each other, but im not sure how well it will do against your brother.

Talk is cheap, kid. I just hope to maintain my tournament average of half wins half losses or better and possibly even make the top cut this time. How many slots will there be in the finals this time? Eight, like at States?

I think it's top 16

assume it's a play on Psychic Lock. After all, nothing beats Garde!! (Or does it?????) Back to the secret card cave to wreck the meta!!

Kevin is really trying to impress us by putting ~130 people in Dream Wizards.

Liesik as HJ? Maybe?

I'll leave fitting people in the store up to the store owner and store staff. I believe that most already know my opinion that it might prove difficult to successfully fit all attendants of our Regionals. As of present moment, I cannot confirm nor deny Liesik's involvement in our Regionals judge staff.

It has become that because no one *cough*kevin*cough* has started a thread with all the info.

Am I the one who should start a thread all the time? To believe that because I'm the head judge, thefore I must start a thread, is a fallacy.

Ok, for those who want basic info here and who don't like to click on other links:
Reg Time is 10:00-11:00 A.M.
Start Time is 11:00 A.M.

(From Dream Wizards site)

This is correct.

Like, is there occupancy limit or something?

As of this moment, I have received no notification of an occupancy limit.

It's a small enough place that I hope a strong AC system was invested in :frown: .

I think they call it an open door. Here's to a cool Saturday...

I agree to the very good League, but don't expect a lot of players at the tourney to represent the League. I do agree with your estimation. At least 120 will attend this event.

Well ninetales1234 starts threads... And is does the TO for this event even use Pokegym? If not then I would think posting info would fall to the HJ. However starting a thread on pokegym is not a required by POP, so it really doesn't matter.

and 111 people at Rockville Gym Challenge 2006.

96.
If you count the judges, the PTO, and crowd control, it was 103.

I say 125. Does anyone want to go higher?:thumb:
