MD Infernape image

this card with firestarter and other energy recycle system are the new metagame. This is possible thanks to the free retreat cost of infernape. You charge one infernape per turn with 2 or more energys (depend of the number of thyplosionMT/Blaziken PK that you have in your bench).

For example, if you put two infernapes MD in play and put 2 thyplosion in the bench you can do 120 damage every turn, that is amazing and brutal.
 
Darkrai on booster cover = Players promo.

Since the Movie Darkrai is release as a promo pack, it is more likely that the remaining Darkrai is the Players promo one.

2 Typhlosion and 2 Infernape = 4 stage 2's. It's going to be incredibly hard to get out 4 stage 2's without something like Pidgeot in the format.

I don't see this being better than Magmortar. It doesn't match Magmortar's stage (stage 1), or it's ability to snipe for small amounts (20) and big amounts (100 - lv.X) and it has to discard energy to do any decent damage.
 
It'll probably take over for the DP Infernape. Even thogh it does 10 less damage for the same cost, the additional damage per energy will take it through the roof.
 
You can abuse DRE & Scramble early game till you get going, and can do 120 / 160 per turn lategame.
And you can also use Ape X.
I'd play it as a setup deck, not as the donk-deck that the old ape was.
Your opponent will be the one who needs to hurry because once you've got 2 Typh/Blaze and 2 Ape ...
 
Typhlosion MT + Stark Mountain (The one moving the energies) + this Thing = 80 every turn.

In a little time: Heatran Lv. X + This Thing = 120 every turn :S
 
nice. i like it. is there really no retreat cost at all? NONE?

question for pokegym mods: why take the image from another site and then put pokegym on the image? it seems a bit hypocritical.

It's the standard, automated way our software works and hard to override. What would be worse would be to post the image and pull it from the other site, leeching their bandwidth. Besides, we had permission. :tongue:
