Rotom L.37 :lightning – HP60
Basic Pokemon
[.] Dual Trans: Choose up to 2 Basic Energy cards from your discard pile and attach them to 1 of your Pokemon.
[L][C] Ene-Reflection: 30 damage. Move 1 Energy attached to Rotom to your Benched Pokemon. (If you have no Benched Pokemon, ignore this effect.)
Weakness::dark: (+20)Resistance: :colorless (-20)
Retreat: 1
Call Energy
Special Energy
Provides :colorless Energy.
The effect written below can be used once during your turn, if the Pokemon this card is attached to is your Active Pokemon. Using this effect ends your turn. Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Pokemon and put them on your Bench. Shuffle your deck afterward.
Just realized this card will be in our Majestic Dawn and that it is not that bad of a card. So I wrote this article about Rotom MD(DX Entry Pack).
THE ATTACKS:
Dual Trans: Obviously good for attaching energy from the discard pile to your big hitter.
Ene-Reflection:Only good in lightning decks. If you do have a lightning deck then you can choose to use it as a last resort for dying, but it'd be smarter to stick with Dual Trans.
THE RETREAT COST:
1 retreat Cost isn't too bad considering you won't really need that Call Energy for too long.
THE WEAKNESS:
Weakness to dark is not bad at all. The only threat is a Darkrai which is not commonly played.
THE RESISTANCE:
Only good to protect you when :colorless starters go bad
How Many to Play:
About 3-4 for accurate starts.
What to Use With:
Call Energy, Lunatone/Felcity's Drawing/Any Card That Can Discard Energy
How to Use:
T1rop down a call energy on Rotom and use Call Energy's Effect to bring up 2 Lunatone/basics that evolve into big hitters.
T2iscard 2 energy cards from your hand with Lunatone/Felcity's and make sure you have a good pokemon that can deal damage when it's up. Use Rotom's Dual Trans to attach the discarded energy to your benched big hitter.
TXo it over and over again until it gets knocked out!
