Thank you for 30 minute limits and GG!

lol its true but i think if the only reason gg players can win is because of gg pop needs to isue a ban to seperate the players who actually deserve worlds and the players who dont

That is hardly true. :nonono:

Take a look at the people who win with the deck. You don't see random n00bs winning stuff. :nonono:

Whats all this bashing about GG, it is going to die soon. It is probably not even going to dominate worlds, cause look at the decks that came through US nationals, most of them can beat GG. It's a game, play for fun. Go with what you are comfitable with, cause I made that mistake last year and it cost me pretty serverly. If you want to play GG and you enjoy playing it, play it. If you enjoy playing a different deck, play that. Changing the time limit wouldn't do much either, cause most of the time the game will come down to time limit, still. In Australia, we play best of 3, 40 minutes, and I can say that most of these games come down to time as well.

I played GG at nationals, I see 2 points of views from it.

1. I see why it is hated and overplayed, but the reason that it has been around the whole season and those people that used it at the start of the season, probably are going to be using it now.

2. The deck has many flaws that can easily be used against it.

In closing, the deck can be countered, it can be beaten and IT SHOULDN'T BE BANNED!

Personally I would not mind seeing a limit on the GG deck, but I don't NEED it, so if they don't then I'm not gonna cry, if they do, I'll smile. If anything I would like it so that if a game finished on time, both players get to finish a turn, not just the one it ended on. That eliminates the "I only needed one turn" stuff. That is based off of many time matches from different seasons, not just GG.

However once again, if they do it, I smile. If not, I move on and play the game.

Dude, I've been against time limits since they were first implemented. (there was a time a long time ago when they didn't exist) But not because of any one card/deck. That's ridiculous! It strikes right to the fundamentals of the game, but w/e I tired of the argument.

I'm gonna love GG after it gives us a free pass to the finals.

People for GG = People with SotG

People for GG ban = Everyone else

That's a pretty bold statement. I didn't realize that voicing your opinion was against SotG. Someone needs to fill me in on this stuff!

Such as?

I'd just like to know what other people think about countering it, since most people just say "it can be beaten" and aren't really specific.

I don't think the deck should be banned. If there was going to be a ban, it would be one card and one card only, and the card that causes the most problems, IMO, is Gallade. Gardy by itself would not win anything.

Time is the only thing that has a realistic chance of being altered, though it's still unlikely because of venue logistics.

It isn't against SotG, I just think that SOME people who think GG is soooo bad it should be BANNED are being ridiculous and a little unfair.

Wow I've never had so many people reply to something I've said before

thanks guys:thumb: makes me feel alive:lol:

Look.

Personally I don't even know why I care, its not like I'm personally going to worlds this year (darn 1st year on a new job and all = no vacation time)

Gardy Gallade just sticks in my darn craw for some reason and I don't even know why.

I think it has more to do with the Idea of a Ban then the cards themselves, I can't stand some of the stubborn people who can't see the logic of Bans. Temporary bans are good, not bad. If a format becomes stale, it needs to be shaken up, that's just my opinion.

especially before some huge event like worlds.

Who was that guy who played the Torrterra deck in Top4 at Nats? That guy is my darn hero!! I hope he wins worlds this year.:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:
