"Welcome to the jungle, we've got fun and games."

I made this deck a little while ago, but I tweaked it up a bit. Let me know what you think!

Pokemon: 21

3 Phione (MD)

2 Baltoy (GE)

2 Claydol (GE)

2 Burmy (SW)

2 Mothim (SW)

4 Chimchar (3 DP/ 1 MD)

2 Monferno (MD)

3 Infernape (MD)

1 Infernape LV.X (DP)
-----------------------------------------------

Trainers: 23

4 Rare Candy

3 PlusPower

2 Night Maintenance

4 Roseanne's Research

4 TV Reporter

4 Celio's Network

2 Professor Rowan
-----------------------------------------
Energy: 15

11 Fire Energy

4 Double Rainbow Energy

1 Scramble Energy.
------------------------------
Strategy: Phione is obviously here to help speed up evolutions. If you ned more of an explanation, you'll have to look elsewhere...

So, now we are going to skip ahead. You are attaching Energy to Infernape to constantly do big damage. Just think, a Double Rainbow gets you 70 + 40 if you have another Fire Energy attached. That's 110 for 2 Energy!!! Infernape LV.X is just a TecH for when you need that over the top amount of damage or a little more HP.

Now you're probably wondering what Mothim does... Well, he is here just to basicly stall. You see both Infernape and Mothim have free retreat costs. So this allows them to switch out freely. Now, let me run you through the fun part. After you're all burnt out from Mega Bravo, or you have tons of damage on you, or if you just need to stall for that certain card, Mothim in your man!! You see, after you meet one of those conditions, you just freely retreat Infernape, Silver Wind with Mothim for free, then next turn bring up a Infernape for a MINIMUM 80 for 1 Energy. And in desperate situations, you can attack with Mothim's Second attack for 110 damage also! The great thing is this deck doesn't even rely on Mothim, you usually can deal with just 2 or 3 Infernape out. But Mothim is the Icing on the Cake.

So, tell me what you think!

-3 Fire Energy
+1 Scramble
+1 Claydol
+1 Baltoy
-1 Felicity's
-1 Night Maintenance
+2 Wager

Those are my fixes.

Nice deck!

Looking good once again, however, the new format is rapidly coming, and unless you are playing this at Worlds/LCQ, you may just want to find a way to see if this can run without the DRE/Scramble

Not bad, dude! I remember us working on this, I would try to squeeze a Warp Point in there somwhere!

How did I guess that you posted this when I saw the title... XD

I'm not so sure that this is going to be very good, but then again it could be a fun league deck. Venamoth is so much fun. lol

^Er...Mothim man, and Mothim is a very Viable card (Moth Balls FTW) With the MD Infernape i think this could really have some potential.

I have noticed that this deck might want an additonal 1-1 Mothim because even if you Silver Wind, it is sometimes nice that they KO your Mothim because then you can possibly Scramble (even though it is going out very soon =( )

I think you underestimate how purely powerful either of your evolutions can be. It's just so key to get a quick Infernape, or even a quick Mothim, that I feel Pachirisu in a deck like this (which could care less what's on its bench as long as something is there) is far outclassed by Phione. With, or without Call Energy. Roseanne's Research alone is good enough, but you've also got Celio's in large quantities. Phione >>> Pachi when you want the ensured Claydol/Monferno right way (Monferno actually seems rather decent, due to auto-burn and 30 for one energy. Hence why anything evolved is very good).

Obviously DP- change Phione to TM-TS1, but Phione sounds like a much better choice then Pachi for now.

I think I'd switch out Felecity's for Professor Rowan, to be honest. Rowan actually sounds fairly useful in this deck, with Infernape LV.X and the max TV Reporter being more then capable of keeping you stuck over the 6 card limit for Claydol. When the hands of 9 cards fail to provide anything immediately useful, Rowan shuffles it away and gives you two chances at a decent ~6 card hand (due to Claydolling after Rowan).

13 fire seems like... Vast Overkill to me. Maybe 11 energy, putting the two freed up slots for one more each of Phione and Rowan? I'd trade one DRE for a Scramble as well for the actually efficient damage output. But that's just me.

I ment Mothim. :p I always get them mixed up. lol

Yeah, thanks for all the help you guys! Yeah though, it's meant to be more of a fun league deck then competitive, but I still do very good at it with league! I know DRE and scramble are going out soon, I'm not sure how I'm going to get around that. The deck isn't COMPLETELY reliant on them, they just make it kick that much more butt.

Yes, I completely agree on Phione! I am definitely changing that!

I'll try some Rowan out too, but I haven't been getting to go to league lately. We'll just wait and see....

Thanks for all the help, and keep it coming!
