You gotta get to States somehow, someway. Wait until you see what BDS & Mr. Raichu have in store for you. They have been scouring the globe for unique Pokemon items. So save some money to spend!!!!
Yep thats right, rumor has it that Mrs. BDS (Susan) :biggrin: will be running the store again this year.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about how many Oregon Players attend the Washinton States, what really
matters is how many of them make it into the finals, and that one of our players walk away with the title!
And I gotta say, I am really liking some of the new cards from Platinum, and I hope you guys are ready,
cause I have never felt stronger!!!

Hmmm You seem rather confident that an Oregon player will steal home a Washington State Championship. Id be willing to wager you one of Mrs BDS's Plushies that no Oregon player will win a Championship in Washington States this year in any age group.
 
:smile: I would consider it an upset if an Oregon Player took a Washington state title, but even I will admit that home
turf and an overall washington dominated field in the Washington States is an uphill climb for the Oregon players. I
would also consider a Washington Player winning the Oregon States to be somewhat of an upset for those reasons. But
all I am saying is that the Oregon competition is heating up. We have more players, and those who are winning are
having to do so by becoming more creative and battle better. Large groups have to have some effect on overall playing
skill of the winners of those groups.

They have: an indoor heated pool and jaccuzzi.
a breakfast room with full on breakfast every am.
I think there is even a tennis court for our resident champion!!!!!
of course a few other amenities like refridge, irons (UGH!) the like

Prices are as follows for the dates above:
2 people 1 bed $65.00 plus tax
2 people 2 beds $75.00 plus tax
4 people 2 beds $89.99 plus tax
for any one needing more than two beds please call them direct at the number above. As always mention that you are with the Pokemon group. I'm not positive but these might be better prices than last year?

If the above fills up, the Salem Roadway Inn is also very nice with a heated pool and breafast. It is about the same cost as the Black Bear. That is where the Phoenix Games Gym Pokemon Carvan will be pulling in for the weekend. So far we have 8 confirmed players (3 Jrs and 5 Masters) from our leauge heading down for Oregon States. See you then!! :thumb:
 
I just got back from Mr. Raichu's Pokemon Museum (a GREAT experience in itself) where we reviewed the merchandise for the States giveaways and the Store. All I can say is WOW!!! Momma_June outdid herself this year. There are figures, plushies, binders, and a bunch of stuff I've never even seen before. Add to that all the Boosters and Theme Decks we've been saving up and you have one heck of a World Class Store.

I also picked up the rest of the supplies to make the Special Oregon State Championship 2009 themed item. More about that later ...

BDS, I could whip up a batch of stickers for your store. They go great on binders and deck boxes. The Shaymin (land form) sticker is a hot one at my league.

I can't wait for this tournament! It's gonna be a ton of fun! (Who knows, maybe we Southern Oregon players might
bring some extra stuff for the touranment prize pool!) And maybe us Southern Oregon players can make a good
showing at States while we are at it!

I think I finally got a deck I will play for states.
I tried Blastacatty , ramapados and Slaking.
But they all were either not powerful enough , not fast enough or just not fun.
But I got a new deck and it's fast ,disruptive and fun.
So watch out , Here I come!
