WOW I did well at Walmart today!

So me and my buddies went to Walmart today to see if they had SV and they had just finished putting them out. So I decided instead of buying a box I will save some money (I am not a huge fan of this set anyways) and buy a 16 packs. In those 16 packs I pulled a Charizard G Lv X, Electivire FB Lv X, Garchomp C Lv X, Articuno SR, 2x Moltres SR and a Yanma SH. I was blown away as normally buying individually packaged boosters sucks. The best packs were the Charizard packs as they netted me 1 Lv X, 2 SR and 1 Shiny. Hope everyone else does well,

NEW UPDATE: At PR last weekend I pulled another SR Moltres, a Rayquaza C LV X, a Staraptor FB Lv X and a shiny Milotic!

No he got indivigual packs that where in a there on case lol way to go that makes me want to go to my local walmart to buy allbthe char pack also btw whhen I was there today I saw that a lot of the packs where upside down in there cases where any of them like that you got or saw ?
 
No the packs were not upside down but a friend of mine bought 2 packs that were did not have the plastic casing glued to the cardboard all around the pack, so it was almost falling out of the packaging (and it had no tear marks so it was production problem).
 
well the individual packs that are sold at walmart and target etc are not from the same boxes so the odds of you pulling multiple x's rares isnt really that bad considering the packs are from different boxes.

Go to a store and buy 16 prepackaged boosters and tell me what you pull.
 
So now on, the Lv. X ratios now might be three per box or in wal mart they mix some boxes?
I don't know as i don't live in USA xD

Anyway, awesome packs!!
 
Wow, I may be reconsidering buying the older packs and go straight to these.
(Store near me has packs, tripple packs, and decks for $0.99)
 
Buying packs is a little like gambling. I knew I shouldn't have bought that GE single pack from CVS for $4 last week, but I was in there for something else and I figured why not. It was likely I'd end up throwing away the cards and wasting my $4, but maybe I'd pull an Unown G and make it worth my while. I didn't. I pulled a Claydol.

Suffice it to say, buying packs in retail at Target, WalMart, etc. does not always yield AMAZING results all the time. Rarely do you get what you hope for, and more often then not, it is a waste of money.

With that out of the way, you did have amazing luck. I wish I could get some of that. ;p

Are the 3 pack sets (with the promo cards) out yet? I like getting those, cause they always seem to have a pretty good chance of something cool. Last time I got a Rotom out of one.

I don't agree with this. many times when i buy boosters i get exactly what i need :lol:

when diamond and pearl first came out i needed another empoleon for the theme deck so i go to wal-mart but 2 d/p packs and start thinking wow i probably won't get an empoleon in here. 1st pack was absolute terribleness, but in the second pack i got an empoleon for my holo and infernape for my reverse holo.

the again with majestic dawn. I buy a single pack, tell my brother wouldn't it be awesome if I got leafeon level x? guess what i pulled then.

Maybe he's just lucky like me.

Anyway, I'm glad you got some great pulls. I've noticed that they really tried to load the packs up nicely this time around. Some people speculate that it's to de-establish the need for buying Japanese boxes to bulk up our rare and LvX holdings.
 
Heh, I stopped by Wal*Mart on a whim the other day and bought 4 packs, one of which contained a Staraptor Lv. X. I don't like the card all that much and I've already got one, but I thought it was a pretty neat pull. No playable rares to speak of, though.
