First. This gets abused with all Pokemon that require 2 colourless to attack. It goes well with Flygon, Garchomp C, Ice Bind Glaceon and Arcanine. But the energy card owns if you get enough of them. 10/10

Oh dear........ Let's spell it out kiddies: B-R-O-K-E-N! That spells the best card released in HGSS (imo), DCE. This card works for any deck that requires more than one energy, brought PLOX back from the dead (though not quite as effective since it takes a turn more to use Bring Down (but who uses that anyways, you should just be spamming Psy Lock anyways:p)), and make normally unplayable cards (Ho-oh LEGEND, or ANY holo from hgss, sans raichu) usable, at least for league decks. This card is used tons in the metagame this season, and with low energy decks (Speedril, Gyarados) dissapearing (hopefully) after worlds, this card will define meta game (either that or run a water deck with Gatr Prime, that's the only other way for speed energy). Get used to seeing that image up at the top, because next season (and a few seasons afterwards) you will see this card EVERYWHERE.
11/10 (This card's awesome is so great, it breaks fractions :D)

This cards awesome powers breaks all rules of math.
900000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000/10.

I'm guessing he's saying Call is the best right now - that's the only one that really contends.

Either way, DCE has shifted the meta like crazy. There is not much to say about this other than 10/10

Poor Upper Energy... such little time in the spotlight.

Wow, what can really be said for the card that has had the entire competitive community in a tizzy for months? It's going to change the idea of what a viable deck is and turn the format all around; hopefully we'll see it bring in all sorts of variety to the tournament scene.

Wow, we finally review a card that is probably the best card in HS.

So, does anyone remember Double Colorless Energy. That card really created speed in many decks in the past. Well now it is back, and it does the same job. For now, I'll refer to Double Colorless Energy as DCE for short. So DCE is a special energy card that does a simple job. It provides 2 :colorless: energies. This may look as if it is not much, but the fact many Pokemon in the current modified require 2 colorless energies in their attacks mean DCE really helps them.

Overalll 10/10 in modified

This definetly has to be one of the best cards in the current format yet. It helps lots of decks right now, and I'll explain each DCE helps.

Plox
Anything Flygon
Luxchomp
Dialga/ Garchomp
Other SP Varients using Garchomp C (like Blazeray)

Why these decks really benefit from DCE? Well one, they are all made faster through this card, and two? Well, let me explain for each deck. Plox benefits because it can do turn-2 Psychic Locks, thus really hindering your opponent. Flygon loves this card since all of its attacks you :colorless:, and speed is just granted upon it. Luxchomp, Dialga/Garchomp, and many SP varients love this card because Garchomp C can now do 80 to any Pokemon for a single energy card as it seems. DCE also is like Energy Gain for SPs. For example. if you attach a DCE on either Luxray or Dialga, and they happen to have the necessary energy for either Trash Bolt or Remove Lost (dependant on who you are playing), you can put Expert Belt without a need to put Energy Gain. Thus, you now have a Pokemon that can hit for even more damaga (90 from trash Bolt, 100 from Remove Lost) without the need of Energy Gain.

DCE is just one broken card indeed!

With no true drawbacks, Double Colorless Energy is no doubt the best energy out there. By virtue of its existence, this single card gives many decks that one-turn advantage, which in many cases, is all that's needed to turn a game around.

10/10, anywhere.

Love that this card was brought back.. high cost retreat pokemon, high cost attacks or even simple 2 colorless to attack, it comes in handy for msotly any pokemon.

10/10 all around

I had to mull over this one. I was thinking that double rainbow was better, but then I review double rainbow energy card again and was well reminded of the "catch" with DRNRG. So, Overall, I think that, for an energy card, this scores a 8.5. Depending on your deck, you may not want to run 4 copies of this card (unless you are running strictly colorless Pokemon or even SP Pokemon). It could be a hinderance rather than a blessing (i.e. you have no basics and you NEED a basic).

This is a card that can provide speed and deadliness to many decks such as Gardevoir/Gallade, LuxChomp, and Flygon. It is certainly one of the best energy cards out in the current format and makes some decks competitive by running this energy. 10/10
