Sleeve Quality.

From what I've heard, they're about the same as before. That's to say, not very good at all. For a big tournament, you'd be best using something else.
 
terrible? I like them alot. what makes them bad in your minds? although past ones such as arceus, and dp sleeves were better these aren't that bad.
 
They're better than the Garchomp ones, but not as good as Rotom, and nowhere near as good as Lucario.

Still, if you're going to play in a "big" tournament, you're best off sticking with KMC or Player's Choice. These sleeves are nice, I love the style, but I'm not sure they'll hold up for too long.
 
kwisdumb, everything is better then garchomp sleeves.
the best two were probably rotom, and lucario.
I think third best was the one that just came out.
 
The HGSS ones are on par with the Garchomp sleeves, from my experience.

I've only seen a few packs of these played, but it seems like they're not all that awful, like I said. I would bet that they'll peel over time though.
 
i played with the HGSS sleeves on one of my decks since they came out. and there in great condition. doing better then my lucario ones atm.
 
Every person I saw using those sleeves at the prerelease yesterday had a whole bunch of sleeves that were starting to peel/fall apart by the end of the three-round main event.

They might be better than other POP ones, but I would certainly advise buying some ultra pro or players choice.
I figure that if they can't even take three games of use, they aren't worth using.
 
maybe they do that in canadia but here in oregon, there is always quality sleeves. I have never seen this so called "peeling of HGSS UNLEASHED sleeves happen".

You do realize that I'm in California and that the prerelease was in California right?
I would love to get good sleeves with nice artwork on them, but the majority of the people using these new sleeves yesterday had sleeves that probably wouldn't be any good for tourney play by the end of three rounds.

In the third round, the person I was playing against had sleeves that looked like they were a year or two old, and they were barely used.

Apparently your mileage may vary, but betting on sleeves that everybody else says are horrible is never a very safe bet.
 
If you've never seen HGSS sleeves peel, you're either extremely lucky or haven't watched many games that use them, heh.

My fiance opened a pack to use at league (since she was out of KMCs) and we played 3 games and they started peeling, and by the end of the day they were absolutely ruined.

And she typically pile shuffles too, and is way lighter on her cards than I am.
 
I dont know m8 haha. I always seem to be the outlier. the only sleeves that I have ever agreed that sucked were garchomp. the others just seem fine. my favorite of all time were arceus. just beccause of how slick they were. hbu?
 
The only POP sleeves I've played with that I would ever trust in a big event are the Rotom, Lucario, and the Professor exclusive ones. I've noticed that HGSS and Garchomp sleeves are particularly bad, can't remember any specific sets outside of those.

I love the design of most of these sleeves though, and you essentially get them for free so hey.
 
Rotom i played with for the longest time. I loved Rotom. and I never opened the lucario ones till this year and they got trashed in no time. I had bought the arceus sleeves at states and loved them at first. and im afraid to use the professor ones. there really pretty and im afraid to trash em haha.

Dusknoir
Rotom
Giratina
Arceus
Professor

But most of the time I play with Japanese ones more!
 
Who smells their sleeves?

I personally don't trust any of the Prerelease sleeves. I think they are more of a collectors item.
 
ya I really like them and all, and they usually look so awesome, but I am just too afraid to play with them after seeing
all of my friends use them and they start to peel
