Con great job you are very deserving of this win. I cant believe how many mirror you faced in top cut!! Also was the Machamp player named Justin Catapang? I played him in Swiss and he got so lucky. That was my only Sour Grapes of the tourney was his match. Such a bad player but good deck choice and he hit turn 1 Machamp prolly 90% of his matches.

lot of hate for a thread about someone else, don't you think? justin is a really donkish player sometimes lol but i think this post is pretty uncalled for...

We were all so happy for you, hence the traditional trip to Hooters. we even managed to find one open in St. Louis when Darrell topped last year. It was a very exciting tournament. My favorite ever, other than Darrell and Brian leaving so early. It would have been better if they had stayed so I wouldn't have to have sent so many text updates. See you in Hawaii!

whats your point? does it bother you that bad? because here is a simple solution to your problem, dont post on this thread if you dont have anything positive to say. your right i did forget to announce FLASH BITE, but then again i am National champ. what are you? and look at it this way if i was affraid to admit that i messed up with flash bite, i wouldn't have put it on the report. in a big event like nationals you would be lucky just to make one mistake. Ignatious's statement is a perfect example of a hater lol. i appolagize if i sound ruthless but this guy needs to hear this. this is only towards Ignatious.

^ yeah luck is a huge part of the game. but its the good players that can turn bad luck into good luck and you just half to live with it. for example rolling tails so many times lol. thanks Johnny you the man!

Just a note, if I were called over as a judge where a player placed down a Crobat G and put a damage counter on one of their opponent's Pokemon, then made another move and the opponent removed the damage counter saying that the power wasn't called, I'd rule strongly in favor of the Crobat G player.

The physical placing of the damage counter was a clear indication that the power was invoked.

I have ruled the other way when a player put down a bat together with an energy then declared the power.
But in this case, the power was physically invoked before another action was taken.
At worlds, a player will often indicate the use of a power by gesturing to it and then performing it, due the language issues.

Physically placing a counter seems clear to me.
Don't hesitate to call a judge, Con.

Good job on the win man, I'm not trying to call you out because I think you're a great player and played an almost perfect match. You had made a comment during our game about how you thought getting 2 tails on cyrus would give you good luck later on, after seeing how your luck/karma worked out for you in our game I honestly believe you were meant to win good job man, seriously your play skill is intense and you had the match up figured out perfectly I can see though you had a lot of practice against it. Do you think I would have been able to win it all with my list had I beaten you in top 16?
