Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Drapion 4 or Weavile G as Gengar counter?

drapion is too heavy of a pokemon plus it decreases consisitency. weavile g adds consistency plus retreat for free and its attack works

Plus you aren't accounting for Expert Belt which makes it very very easy to hit numbers. I am a fan of Drapion at the moment due to the splashability, (no need for Dark nrg)

See COTD staff, this is what happens when you let people review those horribly crummy cards -.-
Drapion has no uses other then counter one specific threat. Weavile makes for a reasonably good start as its a free call energy.

Weavile's cool and all but Team Attack is a pretty weak attack when you take Uxie/Azelf drops into consideration, and the only thing u really want to Team Attack is Gengar amirite. And at 80 HP he's a pretty frail attacker against anything else so really he's just useful as an all-around tech for the free call if u so happen to start with the 1 Weavile. If u want a call effect so bad play 2 Call Energy, you'll have the space if you leave in the Psychic for Drapion/other stuff and take out the Dark.
I used Drapion in my DialgaChomp at AZ States yesterday and it single-handedly gave me both my wins (2-3 drop so I could SLEEP). Bronzong the DCE, Cyrus for the Gain and Psychic, sweep sweep sweep. I was about to smash another Gengar deck round 4 when I started with Drapion DCE but WILD MACHAMP APPEARED and took 3 prizes before I could set up.
