Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Official PTCGO Bug Thread (Updated 3/7)

I get problems with Dark Cloak with the Dark Hydreigon that changes all energy to dark, especially if there's DCE attached.

When the Scorching Flames Volcarona is knocked out, the game still treats burn as 40 damage. This became evident when my opponent kept burning my Darkrais and I was taking 40 damage per burn even after I KO'd their volcarona.

Im not sure if anybody else has this issue but i cant use ditto to its propper use, i cant put a card from my hand on top of it or even a pkmn that i played that turn on top of ditto when it has been out for 5 turns, any ideas?

The earlier thing (about "locked" cards) included some of the "Basic" decks, but also included some stuff in normal Black & White decks.

Such as I had 3 Acceleregor (or however you spell that) & it said 2 are locked for trading.
Though the deck they are in is fully unlocked & I "opened" the deck.

I also had got two DragonSpeed decks (with two different codes), entered the 2nd code & it said the deck unlocked, but nothing ever showed in the cards section.

BTW on my Blue Assault Deck (just the starter) its in a deck box, but I can't seem to put any of the other theme decks in those.

Playing against an opponent and he used Twist Mountain for his 3rd Aerodactyl.
He can't play the card, and the clock has stopped. Neither player can forfeit either. Annoying since I was going to win the game :/

I played a game where a Cresselia Ex's attack (which requires 4 energy) worked with only 2 energies attached to Cresselia. There had been a Gardevior in play before I knocked it out. It appears that Gardevior's Psychic Mirage ability was still working even thought the card was no longer in play. I think this is related to the bug listed as

83) Gardevoir's Psychic Mirage does not activate when a Psychic Energy is moved through Energy Switch or EXP. Share.

Has anyone else run into this? Should this be added as a new bug or should #83 be expanded?

I had a weird issue with Gardevoir's Psychic Mirage ability as well. The ability didn't double any of the psychic energies that had been attached before Gardevoir came into play.

I had a Cresselia EX active with two psychic energies already on it at the start of my turn. I rare candied my Ralts into Gardevoir during my turn, but it did not let me attack with Cresselia. It still registered as only 2 energies.

All psychic energies attached AFTER Gardy came into play were doubled, but the ones before were not.

I also encountered a separate issue with Aspertia City Gym stacking extra HP when a colorless pokemon was returned to my hand using Super Scoop Up. I played a Tornadus EX while Aspertia was in play and it gave him the +20 HP. I then returned him to my hand using SSU, and immediately dropped him back onto my bench. The +20 animation played again, and now Tornadus had 210 HP. Has anyone else come across this? I plan on testing some more with rescue scarf/rescue energy and also with other colorless pokemon.

They need to fix the issue with the fall tin promos being trade locked- apparently only for some people and not for others. I need them for trade fodder!

Weird bug. When using Ho-oh ex's Rebirth ability with no energy in the discard, you seem to have to click the "ok" option when the prompt for choosing energy comes up 3 times, once for each energy its meant to attach.

Made a new deck today to mess around with on Novice VS mode.
It gave me some odd error about "deck size invalid", but it was totally legal.

Also I noticed when building a deck the Pokemon no longer show up in the top "pane", but the trainers & energy do.
This was at the library which has dome pretty decent computers (way faster than mine).

Also sometimes random "opponent has run out of time" when the game just starts.

Of course then there are people who just give up...not like you lose anything.

Just found the worst bug in a while...

I was building a deck. I put my lone golden catcher in first, then went to Catcher and used the "Ctrl + double click" trick to put four in my deck...

And it put all four catcher in my deck. I now had four regular and one golden catcher in my deck. Just to see if it worked, I saved the deck. It didn't object. I tried it in a practice game. All five were there and I was able to use them all.

However, when putting catchers in one at a time, it stops at four, three regular one golden.
When you go back to edit your deck, it kicks the extra catchers out, but you can just use the trick again.
Get you're golden catchers now. The 8 catcher craze is on.

Here's another odd glitch:

When playing my Dragon deck today I was facing a deck with a Normal Deino Dragon card.
It had normal energy on it IIRC.
when I did my Scratch attack with Axew it only did 10 damage instead of 20.
He did a headbutt attack that was normally 10, but did 20 to me.

Later when I had Gible out the Knock-Away attack did do the extra damage due to weakness.

Still having issues with the Pokemon cards (with Pokemon on them) not showing in the build deck area.
This makes it kinda hard to take out or put in stuff.

I have not tried to turn down any graphics options (it's auto-set to "great").
Though I noticed when I made it into a windowed version sometimes the bottom portion is kinda glitchy.
If I tried to run it in normal screen mode the screen "flickers" when you do stuff.

Again this was at the library which has a bunch of Dell computers with dual-core processers & cable Internet.

There's no such thing as a normal type deino card.

OK then THIS card does not exist?

Guess I did not look at Guard Press (which was the attack the person must have used).

Anyhow any suggestions for the graphic issues?
Surely other people are having issues with deckbuilding?
IE you can't see the actual Pokemon you are putting in your deck?

Mind you that each time I play this at the library, I have to reinstall it on their computers.
It automatically deletes it when the timer hits zero (you have about 90 minutes plus an extra 30 minutes to use the computer).
I have the installer on a thumb drive, but it could be out of date.

I also notice that my avatar always defaults back to the plain generic "guy with black hair & jeans".

I will try to download the installer again tomorrow when I visit the library again.
Hopefully it fixes the issues.

So, we finally get a modified/ unlimited split...
And Dragon Vault isn't considered modified.
T_T
(Still happy with the split.)
