  Yes,this is my first post in how long??

WOOT! I cant believe I won a regionals (never thought i'd say that)
I played metanite!
Well, here is my report.
I dont remember the details for the first 3 rounds. :p

First round: person who started playing the day before the tourney. win(1/0)
Easy win, some noob deck.

Second round: local person win(2/0)
same as the first round.

Third round: local person win(3/0)
dragonite ex deck, easy win

Fourth round: James Ballard (sp) win(4/0)
rai-eggs, This match was definately harder than my first 3. We both had pretty good hands, but lucky for me, his prizes were bad.
For the most part we were even throughout the game. I won this game because of time, me having 2 prize at the end of my turn and him having 3.

Fifth round: Joe Creager (sp darn these last names ) lost(4/1)
mirror, Simple matter of me not being able to pull out a metagross for 5 turns while he turn 2s a metagross AND a dragonite.

Sixth round: Jessica Wright win(5/1)
flariados, mostly I was winning, but I pulled a lucky switch when I was confused.

Top 16: Someone named Thomas
blaziken, lugia, delcatty, This match was fun considering I teched a ray* for all those destinys out there. both games I started with ray and switched. Holy star once the first game, and a whole 2 times the second

You leave us hanging like that  Wish I was there to see your win in person.
Congratulations Taylor

She earned it! What a field to bust through...and she and Zak did not play for the first time in 200034343 events!

Nice job!

As always...your fan!

Vince

Oh, and I think Andrew is going to go Horde for the 2nd account! He gladly accepts gold donations!

Hey Taylor,
Great job. That was some immense competition. Possibly as tough as Rockford, IL. To beat Destiny with Menanite is a tall order. Mike says he wants a Vault and a rematch...ftw. He also says congrats. You deserve it.

THE CONTINUATION......

Top 8: Kevin White
he's playing some weird meganium, nidoqueen, ...random stuffs deck. First game, strange match because I'm winning most of the game (I normally lose to him). Red mew was a good threat here. First game won, second game, kevin must have had BAD luck because he was using tail whip over half the game against me. second game win... of course.

Top 4: Joe Creager ...... again
Mirror, First game, MY PRIZES WERE HORRID!!! ( these included 2 rare candies, a dragonite, a metagross, a metang, AND a tranceiver) I lost due to his second turn draggy and metagross. Beat him in the next 2 games though.I dont remember details on these games.

THE CONCLUSION

FINALS:thumb:  :thumb:

Mike Lesky- destiny

First game-This match lasted WAY to long(45 min). We are pretty even most of the game, I'm about to win with ray* but he plays his stump:mad: . I manage to pull the win when i get him down to a lone ray ex.

Second game- amazingly this match didn't come to time.:p I cant really call this a game because his hand was bad, good for me. I win.

WOOOOOOOOT IM A REGIONAL CHAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

beat my autolosses (delta and destiny)
I rock

lucky regional champ who didnt have 2 play against shiftry...:( gj again

Lucky??? :nonono: Sorry, but Taylor has been winning events and top cutting lots of places, including 4th in the World in 2004. Dont diss her skills. Yes, match ups play a HUGE role in determining a topcut. The unbeaten Master @ SE Regs (after swiss) played his way to t4, only to run into an auto loss deck for him. He played Shiftry. His oppo. slayed him in nooooo time. His oppo also suffered 2 losses in swiss. So, who had the better deck? Shifty that took 3rd with 9-1 record (matches) for the day or 2nd with a 7-3 (matches)?? I know who walked out with the bigger stash!

Lastly, I dont recall Metanite having an autoloss to Shifty either.

it was a joke...:thumb:
and actually a GOOD shiftry build pretty much makes shiftry an autoloss for metanite...but w/e

Taylor and Chas have a great friendly rivalry..

At Cities in Memphis, Chas smoked her metanite 2 straight with his Shiftry deck .
