Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Pop 6 is here!

Trainers that you're supposed to get? Nintendo never confirmed anything, don't be naive. They really screwed up here though. They could have put in half decent rares.

I think that we have been spoiled by the last few sets which had EXs, stars, energy, and trainers. Still I appreciate the OP support though I admit I'm not as motivated to go and play league games as I was trying to get Mew d or Espeon star or the like.

well i dont think im paying that dollar for league now just to get this stuff...

i am going to go to sleep
i will wake up, and this horrible POP set wont exist

...will it?

Wow, this is disappointing...

Instead of taking advantage of the opportunity to provide league players with useful cards such as Supporters, Trainers, hard-to-get rares, etc., POP has decided to give us a bunch of reprints of cards we just got. Whooo...

I can understand that collectors would want these cards, but what about the players? What about people like the kids at my league who have a hard time getting cards like Rare Candy, Castaway, and Double Rainbow Energy? What about the people like me who wanted to see something they could use from this set? Is it so hard to throw a card or two in to make the set a bit more accessible to players? These are just a bunch of cards that I've already seen before (a bunch of reprints of reprints?!?).

I know I probably sound particularly frustrated, but these are cards that could have been released in a tin or multi-pack of cards, not in something that has to be earned. There's no incentive for me as a player to earn these POP packs. I mean... why waste this opportunity to release useful cards to players on things like a 3rd Pachirisu? This has happened before (no Rocket's Admin. in POP 3 or 4), and our entire format was messed up until we got RPS because of it.

I know that POP has no obligation to supply players with super-useful cards in their POP sets, but they do serve to attract new players to the game as well as keep continuing players in the game. Aside from collectors, this set attracts nobody. I can't think of many new players who will be that excited to get a Pachirisu reprint reprint (then again, how many players use Pachirisu in their decks at all). And we've already heard from all the current players who are disappointed with this set. Sigh... I would have rather showed up on Saturday to see things like Mary's Request, Rainbow Energy, etc. without knowing that those cards were legal than get this stuff. :nonono:

I agree with eriknance. These POP packs definately aren't going to draw people into playing at League much, and what's the point of reprints of cards that are going to be around next season anyways?

If they would have included at least 1 decent card like a new trainerwith the effect of rocket's admin people would kill each other(lol) to get these boosters.
If they included a card thta already existed like rocket's admin itself people wouldn't be so angry neither, but they would generally have the card so they won't play much unless they want to sell them or trade them.
