lol I won't comment on all of the hate for sonic, especially the extremely stupid comment "olol I'll forget all of my hate for sonic becuz they made him kool now heheee" yeah fyi he's looked like that for almost a decade now, and there's no way nintendo of all people can make someone as awesome as sonic any kooler, but thank "da lohd" that Sonic is in this game finally <3<3<3

SEGA's been doing a pretty great job of ruining Sonic's awesomeness these past few years. The only good Sonic games in recent years weren't even developed by SEGA (I'm lookin' at you, Sonic Rush series!). As far as I'm concerned, from this video, Sakurai really got what made classic Sonic awesome.
 
What ARE you talking about, in this video Sonic has his soap shoes, same edgie look of the adventure-and on style, and has the homing attack, all of those factors were introduced after the "omg classic wheeee 16 pixelz0rz ftw" period

I think he's referring to the Sonic games _AFTER_ SA2 were made, all of which weren't that great (I wasn't that fond of SA2 myself).
 
I didn't see the homing attack anywhere. I saw a spin-dash jump however. I definately didn't mean aesthetics though.

EDIT: Oh, and the classic sound effects are full of win.

Just like 8-bit Latiku and Excite Bike, right? :)

I obviously meant the character design, not the original sprite. Sonic is still Sonic. Megaman is not Megaman X. Megaman is what most people think of when they think of the Megaman franchise anyways. As you know, Megaman X wasn't in Marvel vs Capcom. :)

He'll change his colors to look similar to Shadow, Silver, and Metal Sonic. At least that's what I think.

As for his special moves, Spin Dash and Spin Charge? Couldn't they be a bit more creative. I kinda wish the spin charge would turn into Sonic's Light Attack.

Since Smash Bros is sticking to the "original Sonic" does anyone else think his Stage will be Green Hill Zone?
