wow you kno they WANTED this game released dec 3 for christmas rush. Nintendo must be a bit disappointed as there wii sales which are already doing great would have gone through the roof during the hoilday season, now have to wait and lose some profits cause of it. But i rather wait if it means Sonic is in, but honestly i think that WAS the update to make people go oh well feb 10th is cool. I think there is gonna be another blockbuster character thats gonna hit. But when you think of it the only character that would be almost as wanted would be megaman. Any others? I know i would be excited if waluigi was a character or dixie kong who should be in the game....
 
ha nintendo BLOWS it. missing christmas revenue is horrible...yeah, it will sell tons of copies, but people would get the game for their kids even if they didn't want/play it cause its christmas. i dunno what they are thinking, they have all these other games out already, but this, apparently the "biggest" game on wii, gets delayed. maybe they should try to stop adding every video game character known to man and just ship it.

Yeah, it's a shame it will miss the Christmas rush, but it will still sell gangbusters in the end, so it doesn't really matter. Heck, Melee still sells pretty well. Has it even dropped in price yet? Even if it did hit at Christmas, Wii's will be sold out anyway, so how are you supposed to move systems you won't have?

Actually, I'm about ready to call this a brilliant move for Nintendo. After Christmas it will help sustain the momentum with Mario Bikers..er...Kart Wii, No More Heroes, etc.

Still sucks for the gamers though.

i knew the sonic update was to lessen the blow on this one. UGH why'd i ask for a wii for my birthday, now it's just sitting there collecting DUST.

maybe if they spent less effort piling useless items and crap in the game that most players don't even use, the game would have been out by now.
 
smash is like the only wii title that mildy appeals to me. but i know the game takes a lot of practice so we'll see if the game can in any way take time away from halo 3 and gears of war

It will because this game is going to sweep the world in both sales and online players not just in the US. Plus Meagman better not be in the game. The Megaman Franchise just needs to be put to rest.

nope, melee came out in 2001 (6 years ago) and still sells for $30-35 at walmart and used at gamestop.
where as halo 2 is only 20, so that shows that the demand for melee is still quite high even though its been out forever.

this is going to be by far the best game for quite some time. and i really hope that it sells more copys than halo 3 just so that i can shove it in my friends face!

and it deffenatly needs ridley as a PC.
 
First off, Kefka needs to be in this. I'll never stop saying that.

Second, until this thing comes out, I don't even think I'd consider purchasing a Wii. My Playstation 2 is keeping my quite happy in the dorm, TYVM! :)

MP3 is the best wii game, possibly even one of the best games (it reaches halo quailty) I have played in a long time.
Zack and Wiki is also a very nice Pirate title coming out.
And yeah, SMG just speaks for itself.
So go buy a Wii now.

Those games can certainly fill the void for SSBB.
