Japan’s July Set: ‘EX Battle Boost’

Actually, they went BW1-on during the 2011 Autumn Battle Carnival the year before. Which I think was the point they started the Battle Carnivals. The Spring of 2011 was also when they rotated to HGSS-on.

I have been busy preparing for Cities, so I haven't been reading through blogs as of recently to find if any top placers have. On another note, I updated the post with the Top 3 winning decks from Tokyo Day 1 thanks again to the Pokemon Company Japan's Twitter account for reporting it.

    Japan's Autumn Battle Carnival '12 Updated decks for top 4 Tokyo Day 1 & 2 11/30

I can't say it did or did not, because I haven't seen a decklist from the player. The older players (older than your typical Japanese Elementary student) would have to play in the Open League that is for all ages. No deck list as of right now. I'm also going to be posting up the Top 2 deck...

    Japan's Autumn Battle Carnival '12 Updated decks for top 4 Tokyo Day 1 & 2 11/30

You play the next available player or wait for another player to be available (either from a current game or a new player from the previous stage). This might be better answered by someone who actually participates, but what I'm assuming is that the staff deck checks you before you enter the...

    Japan's BW1 - BW6 Gym Challenge Information Dump

Did he mention which format? If it is BW1 - BW7 (Plasma Gale) then I wouldn't have an guaranteed answer to support it. I done something similar with a spreadsheet before trashing it to start all over all again which shown that Darkrai EX + goodstuff are still common but, the metagame was still...

    Japan's BW1 - BW6 Gym Challenge Information Dump

If we are looking at Landorus EX by itself then yes. Landorus EX paired with many other Pokemon is very relevant as well. Once I get to a comfortable amount of matches I could probably do a count of how many times a certain Pokemon has shown up in the many deck combinations.
