Well, this was my first Nats and I really enjoyed it. I went 1-4, but it was still awesome fun. I don't have time to write a full report, but I will give you my highlights;


Props:

-TASRAID!
-Ashley making *official* top cut
-Everyone being really awesome
-Meeting guys who I had only spoken to online (Jason, Jared, Sam, Sean)
-Meeting new people (Pezza, guy with the goatee, guy who looked like Fonzie)
-Spending time with and becoming better friends with people I already knew, namely Ashley, Hayley, Travis, Kyle and Dean
-Getting Pory-Z Lv.X


Slops:
-Nonsence about top cut (I personally think Frank did a good job. He made 1 mistake, and if thats the worst he ever makes then he can die happy.
-Not all the Tassies making top cut
-Hardly any sleep

So were the cuts resolved?

Was TOM used or abused?

FWIW I believe that the op manager can decide to do non standard cuts (too big), If the manager decides to do this then the tournament would not then be included in the ratings.

SO alls well that ends well.

We still have a lot of OP issues, but most were resolved today- I'm looking forward to a slightly better Future in our OP... I hope!

So yeah, I cam second. I used a deck called Empalkia! It wasn't my idea, but by Pidgoet5's, whom I sat and talked with about the deck.

So, I'm being made Guardian for either Jayson Campkin or Sean Takamoto depending on how things turn out. The fact that people would be willing to take me to worlds, I almost started crying. It was one of the best things anyone has ever done for me. I have an invite and a trip thanks to Jayson and James Campkin (Grinbag), Sean (silent_swordsman_lv3) and Adam Ferguson (Pidgeot5). You guys have no idea what this means to me! Thanks so much!

Also, $750US Scholarship! OMG yes! that's my TAFE enrollment fee PAID! *dances*

Thanks to those who were patient with the whole Top Cut issue. It was awesome having been united as a player-base for once. Thanks goes to the 9th-16th spots, who were way cool about all this... Australia might not have the best skill, but we have the best sportsmanship in the world.

Thanks to Mrs Takamoto for treating us to a FANTASTIC dinner and Happy Birthday to Sean! our 08 National Champion!

To my intl buddies! Looking forward to it! I can't wait! ORLANDO HERE WE COME!

Somoene better work out the trips or whatever possible for Sam and Jared >_> These two are strongly deserved to go to Worlds this year..................................
