1 Top Cut win out of 5 tries

So here is my CCs report. I ended up going to 9 Cities and making top cut at 5, and only managed to win 1 top cut round, equals a rather disappointing result for me. I'm trying to do this by memory so bare with me if in-game info is low.

Date: 12/13/2008
Location: Fond Du Lac, WI

I decide to go with something consistent so I decide to play Torterra, thinking it's the most consistent deck for the rather easy Meta-game that is in Fond Du Lac. So poor deck choice on my part plus not knowing how good Uxie was keep me out of this top cut. Oh and getting donked Round 2.

Round 1 Won Vs. Casey and her Psychic deck, 1-0
I have a pretty good set up with I believe a Turn 3 Torterra and Claydol, T4 with Sceptile. She doesn't have the greatest of starts, but she manages to build up a Mewtwo Lv. X and takes 1 early prize lead. From there I just take over with Torterra OHKO every Pokemon she sends up. GG

Round 2 Lost another Psychic deck, 1-1
I have a good starting hand, Turtwig with Call Energy and Claydol in hand, so I'm psyched by it. I start off she goes first and does 10 with something. I Call for Baltoy and Treecko. This is where I get donked, she plays a Mars on me and rips the Claydol from my hand, in a 1 out 5/6 chance. I was ok, maybe I'll top deck a Dusk Ball or Bebe's or something. I get, Basic energy. In the mean time, while I keep doing 20 with Turtwig she is setting up 2 Grumpigs with Drifloon, so she manages to get 1 with 4 energy and keeps KO all my basics as I top deck nothing.

Round 3, Win 2-1
It was some weird Dragonite deck. He got it powered up but couldn't do much with it. From there I just KOed his Stage 1s and Basics.

Round 4 Lost Bobby A with this Gengar/Glaceon Lv. X deck, 2-2
Bobby is a new but good player so I knew our game was going to be good. He starts of fast with his Gengar getting a couple of prizes ahead of me. But it's ok, because I manage to get a Torterra Lv.X up with a Sceptile, and Claydol. I start making a comeback, playing around the Gengar by bring up Claydol and his benched Glaceon to KO both which I think is where I misplayed. He also had a Cresselia Lv. X and I did thinking of KOing that but decided not and when for Glaceon. It comes down to my Sceptile vs. his Gengar and I have to flip heads even if he moved a damage counter away with Cresselia I could still devolve the Gengar and get the KO that way. If I flip heads he is only left with Cresselia and Azelf Lv. X. I flip tails and can't devolve for the KO. He wins.

Round 5, Win 3-2
I don't remember anything about this match-up besides that I won.

Round 6, Lose 3-3
I have to play my play test buddy Chris Wood vs. his AMU. It was an easy win for him as I couldn't get anything up because of deck failer and him locking me early on with Mesprits.

Date: 12/14/2008
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

I decide to play my original idea of Abomasnow, Cresselia Lv. X and Dusknoir.

Game 1: vs. Chan with AMU/Palkia Lv. X, Win 1-0
It was a very heated battle where he kept locking me with Mesprit and Palkia Lv. X. I manage to set up and get a Dark Palm up and manage to keep him from doing 200 with Mesprit which was my biggest fear. Time is called. It's his turn, and he has to KO or I win. He can't but can devolve my Dusknoir Damage Even but I only had 20 I believe on my Duskull, so I just retreat and send up my other Damage even and take a Uxie with Damage even and a Cresselia Moon Skip to it. Very good game.

Game 2: vs. Justin Hynes and his spread deck, Loss 1-1
This was another close game. He managed to get multiple KOs with an Omastar drop after spreading a ton of damage with Bronzong, some Zapdos flips, and Ampharos's Body when I played supporters. Which was my misplay because I really didn't need to play them. I'm starting to make a comeback and see that he is powering up a Bronzong up to Warp Point me and KO one of my 2 Cresselia Lv. X. I was seeing that he was aiming for that so I tried to get a Dark Palm Dusknoir but couldn't get it so he gets the win.

Game 3 Loss don't recall the match, 1-2

Game 4 Won vs. Greg Simons with his Torterra/Sceptile, 2-2
He had a slow start vs. my very good start. I kept winning Wager vs. him so he never could get a Claydol. I KO 2 of his Torterra and Sceptile with a bunch of spread, and Dusknoir Lv. X damage.

Game 5 Loss, Jeff Wiza with Kingdra 2-3
I got T1 by Kingdra. Ugh, a good match-up on paper for me and I have to get T1ed. We play a friendly game and he has to leave mid-game. But I had a clear advantage, although he won't admit that.

So my first weekend of Cities is a complete disappointment by going 3-3 in a rather easy metagame. Then going 2-3 while getting donked round 5.

Date: 12/20/2008
Location: Green Bay, WI

Round 1 Won, 1-0
Don't remember anything about it

Round 2 Won 2-0, Vs. Dusknoir Variant
I remember setting up an Abomasnow, and Ging it. He had a rather slow start so my 2 swarm of Abomasnow and Cresselia was too much for the "mirror".

Round 3 Won vs. Bobby A. with Gengar, 3-0
I start off with a Dusclops D/P and spread with it's 30/10 to free retreaters with a Moonlight in play. I got like 3 turns of it because he had a slow start. Then I clean up with Abomasnow and Cresselia Lv. X.

Round 4 vs. Loss vs. Yehoshua "Yoshi" T. with Machamp/Lumineon/Dusknoir,3-1
I have another fast start and go ahead in prizes to his very slow start. But he starts to make a comeback, and I have to keep my bench low because he had an early Dusknoir up. I need energy and have to keep using Shadow Command since I don't have Claydol in play, but I keep getting Basic Pokemon, and he has everything about now, Machamp/Lumineon active and Dusknoir. I don't lay down the basics fearing he had a Warp Point and would still push anything he wanted. He makes me send up a Duskull and pushes back Dusknoir into the deck. He takes a lead and then I start to counter his comeback with my own. But didn't catch that he used Strong-Willed with Machamp Lv. X and take the prize since I would have KOed him. He tells me after I took it that he used Strong-Willed. We call over the Head Judge and he tells Yoshi to flip, he gets heads and I gets to take a prize penalty because of my misplay. I did it because I thought too that the Machamp flip is when he uses the attack, not when it's attacked. I would have managed to make a comeback because I had a Cresslia Lv. X to KO his Machamp and Lumineon which was at 60, and he had nothing to KO me back with. Cresselis had 1 energy on it and I had a bench Duskull with Rare Candy in hand.

Round 5 Won vs. Jordan Becks w/ Tangrowth/Sceptile, 4-1
I won because he couldn't get anything up. He just kept sending up basics. Sorry dude, a bad beat none the less for him.

Finally, I'm in top cut. 4-2
Top 4, Loss Vs. Jesse T. w/ Speed Machamp
Game 1, I prized my only Baltoy and can't get much going. So it's an easy win for him.
Game 2, It was a good game, but again I prized my only Claydol this time. Yet I get it with one of my early prizes, and he scoops when he doesn't have enough energy to get out of my Night Spins.
Game 3, He got an early prize lead while I managed to get anything going. At one point I top deck a Roseanne's with only 2 cards in hand, but I didn't play Uxie in my deck because I didn't know how good it was since I was on a long break up unto CCs. He won on time.

Date: 12/21/08
Location: Oswego, IL

Round 1 Loss vs. Jeremy Adams w/Stupidest deck ever in G/G Weavile, that's the reason I took a break from the game since last year after Regionals up until this year at CCs. But apparently the deck is back again. Anyway, here we go. 0-1
It was an easy win for him, as I have a very slow start, and he gets his T3 lock going. I have a horrible starting hand, and only push basics. I have a Roseanne's, but the only Uxie I have now is prized, ugh. Talk about bad Karma.

Round 2 Won vs. T-tar, 1-1
I had a fast start to his slow start, he only managed to get 1 T-Tar in play but my Abomasnow swarm is too much for him. I think I bench him by KOing all his Pokemon at the same time, and have Dark Palm to put back anything he would have layed down.

Round 3 Won, 2-1
I forgot this match up.

Round 4 Won vs. Empoleon, 3-1
I won in a match that went time. If he has a warp point he wins, but he can only KO my Abomasnow to tie it up, and puts my Uxie at 50. I send up Dusknoir and move a damage with Cresselia and Damage Even one of his Empoleons for game. It was a very good match-up going back and forth.

Round 5 Loss vs. BigDonk01, I mean BigChuck01 w/ Kingdra, 3-2
I got T1 again by Kingdra. We play a friendly game afterward, and again I win that game when he doesn't T1 me. Then Chuck goes on to win it all against some rather not so hard competition, but not very favorable match-ups for him. So it was basically who ever won out game was going to win the tourney, unless I got donked, but very unlikely because no deck was a speed deck in top 4, only his Kingdra.

Date: 12/27/2008
Location: Rantoul, IL

Round 1 Won vs. Dusknoir Variant, 1-0
I got set up pretty fast, yet again and he didn't so it was an easy game for me.

Round 2 Won vs. Matt Alvis with Kingdra, 2-0 I believe it was him but not sure
I don't remember much about this game, as I'm not sure if it was vs. him.

Round 3 Won vs. Jeff Wiza, 3-0
He couldn't get Kingdra out early enough to counter my usual great start. We had playtested this match-up a lot and he always had gotten the edge on me but while getting pretty lucky. Having enough Plus Powers each time to KO my stuff and leaving me without an answer for a couple of turns. But this time he didn't get so lucky.

Round 4 Won vs. Bigginz w/ Tangrowth Forretress, 4-0
He had an ok start but I had a much better one. I KO his Claydol rather early as he had to start with it, and he can't get another one up. He missed a few flips on Forretress and he need, and couldn't get his Poke Healers to help him out. At one point, I Warp Point him and Dark Palm a Tangrowth with 4 energies on it. So that set him back a lot. From there it was pretty easy because he only had 1 Tangrowth to keep hitting me back with while I used Uxie Lv. X and Dusknoir Dark Palm's attack to keep hitting him for 60 and KOing his last answer.

So I go undefeated in swiss while beating some good competition. Going into Top Cut it was 1 T-Tar, my only bad match-up, Alvis's Kingdra which I have a pretty good match-up, and Bigginz Tangrowth which I beat him in Swiss and feel pretty confident about the match-up. Unfortunately, I got paired up with T-Tar my only bad match-up in top cut, ugh. Had I gotten matched-up with any of the other two I had a good chance at winning it. Since T-tar had a bad match-up vs. the other 2 decks, but who knows with the Healers he played they could be turned around in his favor.

Round 5, LossTop 4 vs. Jordan w/ T-tar
Game 1, he gets a T-tar active with an energy in the discard so I can't use any powers as I'm hoping my T2 Abomasnow/call energy to get the second one will out last his T-Tar. But they don't as he gets 2 Special Darks on it and then when I finally have it at 80 he double heals it to seal the deal.

Game 2, again he gets a very good start again. I have a good start too, but the Healers kill me again. I managed to take 3 prizes at one point, getting his Weavile and Uxie and Claydol KOed with a lot of spread and Dusknoir Lv. X doing it's thing as a stadium. But his T-tars are too much for either Abomasnow and/or Dusknoir.

Date: 12/28/2008
Location: Chicago, IL

Round 1: Won I get a bye, yay easier win yet, 1-0

Round 2: Won Vs. Steve with T-tar, Darkrai, Weavile, 2-0
He has a rather slow start to my faster start. I spread a bunch of damage with Dusknoir and Abomasnow, then he KOes Dusknoir and it becomes a Stadium. A few turns later I KO all his board with the damage from Dusknoir, and some careful damage movements from Cresselia. I was so proud of benching him and taking 4 prizes at the same turn, because it was really careful spreading that got me to that point. It wasn't the only time I would do this to somebody, I believe I did it 3 times during my Cities run. He didn't play Healers so I was able to pull this off this time.

Round 3: Won Vs. Matt "Celio" Ennocenti w/ Gigas/Palkia 3-0
This was a very good game, it kept going back and forth. At one point, I had the option of KOing either his Palkia Lv. X or his second regular Gigas on the bench with Damage Even, I take the Gigas, in a misplay that would have cost me the game, I'll explain why. It goes down to the wire and it's my he has Snowpoint Temple in play, and I have to counter stadium to KO his Uxie which was at 50 but with Snow Play from Abomasnow it would be at 70, but the Stadium keeps it alive since I can't counter Stadium his. Time is called right at the end of my turn. On his turn I ask if he has the switch, he shows it to me, and it's tied on prizes. But misplays it was switching to a Uxie and retreating and using 80 with the Lv. X to my Abomasnow. He said I tricked him into doing that misplay. So when I point out he doesn't KO my Abomasnow he tries to take it back quickly. I call Jimmy over and he puts the game of state to where he Uxie retreats. So he sends up another Uxie and Lv.x ups trying to get another Switch. But fails, so I win on a technicality. I would have given him the win but the fact that he tried to pull that fast one on me made me not do it.

Round 4: Won but don't remember anything about it, 4-0

Round 5: Won Vs. Bigginz again with his same Tangrowth/Forretress, 5-0
I got to an early lead and tried a different approach this time, Ging 2/3 3 pokemon in play. I had an early lead though because he had to lay a Uxie to get his side going, so I took a prize from that. I have him down 5-1 in prizes, bu he doesn't give up, and makes a comeback. I stopped really trying because I though I had the game locked up. At one point I use both of my Cresselia's to remove the spread he does, but only put the damage on him without removing it from my side. So I bring it up to him, and we call Jimmy over. He rules that the my damage doesn't get removed and his does, because it was my mistake for not taking off the damage from my side. It goes down to his Forretress having 80 HP, on it and he flips 2 SSU and misses on both. Next turn I more damage to the Forretress and KO it for game. It wouldn't have gotten to that state if I had move the damage away from my guys, but w/e I lucked out on a win that was rightfully my from the beginning.

Round 6: Loss vs. Johnny w/ GG/Weavile, needless to point out it's the stupidest deck ever, 5-1
We both set up ok, but he locks me up again T3, and keeps Wagering me until he wins on the third wager. From there I can't recover and he beats me easily as I'm weak to him and he Poke-Healers the damage I had build up with Abomasnow.

Top 8 Lose vs. Ryan Bigginz w/ Tangrowth/Forretress
Game 1: I won because he had a rather slow start and had to use multiple Uxies to set up. I managed to KO those with Abomasnow and his Claydol and Forretress too forcing him to scoop.
Game 2: He won. I don't recall much about it though.
Game 3: Time is called as we are shuffling for this game. I get a godly start with 2 rare candies within my first 4 turns. But I play a Rowan, keep Luxury and accidentally draw 5. He calls Jimmy over and Jimmy makes some calls to get the ruling right. He says it's a prize lose, so in Sudden Death I auto-lose. Ugh, the reason I drew 5 and was going to draw 6 because I got a Baltoy from the Rowan and was thinking I was using Claydol so I was going to draw 6, but Bigginz stopped me after the 5th. I had Dusknoir Shadow Command in play so I asked if I could use that to reverse the "misplay". But I couldn't, ugh. I knew I had him too because I went first and started attaching first, and he missed an energy drop so I was going to 3 hit his Tangrowth or Warp Point to his only Claydol and move a damage with Cress and KO his Claydol, but I messed up. I also had a huge head ache so I wasn't thinking too straight, not an excuse as I don't believe in them, but a fact.

Date: 12/29/2008
Location: Romeoville, IL

Round 1: Won Vs. Magnezone Bastiodon, 1-0
He had a slow start but finally managed to get Bastiodon out and healed it twice with Poke-Healer, ugh. But I kept piling up the damage to finally KO it

Round 2: Won but don't remember the match, 2-0

Round 3: Won Vs. Matt Alvis w/ Kingdra, 3-0
It was another good game vs. Matt but I managed to bench him with all the crazy spread again. He finally gained respect for my deck after the game, by saying that my deck was really good, and that he failed to see my play of KOing all his pokemon with Dusknoir as a stadium. He showed me Horsea and Baltoy he was keeping hand because of my Dark Palm Dusknoir.

Round 4: Won Vs. Scizor/Cherrim, 4-0
We start off and he warp points me so I can't get T2 Abomasnow, but I warp Point him right back T2 so he can't get T2 Scizor. From there I power up an Abomasnow with Cresselia in the bench and he can't KO that Abomasnow until it's too late. I take over with Dusknoir, since he didn't play Unown Gs.

Round 5: Loss vs. Jeremy w/ you guessed it GG/Weavile
He gets his T3 lock, and Poke-healers remove all damage I had build up with Abomasnow. He wagered me early twice and it was 1-1 on Wager count. So I couldn't really build anything up after he KOed my 2 Abomasnows, so he 6-0ed me. On the third Wager, he kept throwing scissors and told to throw Rock to beat him. He did this because he knew I was going to actually beat him on the third wager and win that battle in the game.

Top 8 Vs. Won vs. Big Chuck01 with GG/Weavile
Game 1: I won but he scooped rather early when it was still 3-4 I believe on prizes, but because he realized both of his Claydols were prized. Yes just the break I needed in my toughest match-up.
Game 2: It goes down to the wire and he beats me by 2 prizes.
Game 3: I won on time, by 1 prize. Time was called on my turn. I had 2 quick Abomasnows to KO his claydols and put 1 of his Weaviles at 40, after I Warp Point and he send that up. It's what won me the game too, because I had a Dusknoir at 40 and I sniped his Weavile FTW on time. GGs Chuck, I got you back for the City win you "stole" from me at Oswego.

Top 8 Vs. Rob Downs w/ Gigas
Game 1: He keeps only 2 Pokemon in play, his active Gigas and benched Regice, both G, so Dusknoir is pretty uses, since I played 2 Damage Even/1 Dark Palm. I manage to build up a Lv. X and he KOs it. But doesn't have a counter Stadium, so I try to bleed him out, by stalling with Abomasnows and Dusknoirs since both take 2 hits from it. At one point he plays a single drawer to get an Night M. to get back his Regice and Roseanne's it back to the bench to move back a Snover which I had heads on Hide FTW. If he doesn't do that I could have had a chance because it was 1-1 prize and I might have gotten an Abomasnow and try to bleed him out, and hit him enough where the Dusknoir damage and Abomasnow would have KOed him with time, but he got the card he needed with Drawer, ugh.
Game 2: I don't remember much as our first match took almost 50 minutes to complete and we didn't have much of a second game.

Date: 01/10/2009
Location: Rockford, IL

Round 1: Won, I don't remember much about it.

Round 2: Won, Vs. Matt Alvis with T2 Abomasnow Spread
It was a good game, but the promo Dusknoir gave me the edge as he never could KO that. I took down one of his Abomasnows early with help from my Cresselia, he couldn't get his out. He kept trying to Mesprit lock me but missed on some SSU, he was making a comeback bay spreading a lot of damage, but the Promo Dusknoir/Cresselia was too much for him to take.

Round 3: Won vs. Rob Down w/ Gigas Lock, 3-0
I kept "tricking" him into laying down Mesprits and he missed a few SSU flip. He kept having to use Sacrifice as his Mesprits got to 50/60 with Dusknoir as a stadium and Abomasnow spread.

Round 4: Lose vs. Vince w/ GG/Weavile, 3-1
It was a pretty good game but he kept his lock going for a while, the 1 turn he had to attack with Gallade he managed to get Luxury Ball on his last Claydol draw card, and lock me Mesprit to stop any possibility of me making a comeback. If he didn't get that Luxury Ball, I could have made a comeback, because he had used everything else, Telepass and Supporter, ugh.

Round 5: Won Vs. Jimmy Ballard w/ T2 Abomasnow, 4-1
This game started off good, but he scooped after I KOed his only Abomasnow and realized he had a lot of good prizes, which were 2 Snover among other good stuff.

Round 6: Lost Vs. Chris Wood W/ AMU
He warp pointed me early to "lock" with an Unown G I couldn't get a Moonlight Stadium to safe my life, and I let him set up too much, while I set up as much. I scooped after he manage to Palkia up my Dusknoir Promo and 1 shot it with Mesprit.

Top 8 Lost vs. Rob Down with Gigas
Game 1: He got a lot of head flips vs. me, it was like 17/20. He tried to keep his bench low but had keep laying Uxies down or Mesprits to lock me. Again, I stuck a Dusknoir Lv. X because he didn't play any counter Stadiums, but he just kept Sacrificing when they were about to be KO. I was locked for most of the game, so I was limited to using Claydol. At one point I had about 12/13 cards left in my deck and play a Dusk Ball trying to get my Promo Dusknoir but missed on it, and I just ran out of answers at that time. If I get that Dusknoir at that time I really think I win because it was 3-2 in his favor and I had a Cresselia Lv. X in play, so unless he had a Warp Point or Switch to do 100 twice to Promo Dusknoir he wasn't going to 2HKO it, with my healing attack and Cresselia. Plus he would of had to Sacrificed 3 straight times or the damage from the attack, cresselia and Ectoplasm would have 2HKO his Gigas leaving him out anything to KO my Dusknoir back.
Game 2: I was in better shape, but time was called on his turn when the game was 3-3 and he had to sacrifice once more. Ugh, 2 more minutes and I would have won that second game. Then in sudden death I think I had the edge because he can't use Sacrifice.

Date:1/11/2009
Location: Huntley, IL

Round 1: Won vs. Magnezone, 1-0
This a quick game as he didn't get much out after I Koed his Baltoy T3

Round 2: Won vs. Lynn w/ Torterra/Sceptile 2-0
She had a rather slow start to my first again due to me KOing her Baltoy early again. She was too far behind when she finally got Torterra Lv. X out and Sceptile. I trade off 2 times she got my Promo Dusknoir to 60 but the first time I healed all the way back down to 0 with Cresselia Lv. X and it's attack.

Round 3: Lost vs. Raichu, 2-1
He got T3 Raichu but prized his only Claydol while I prized my only Baltoy, Cresselia Lv. X, an Abomasnow, a Duskull and a Roseanne's. He just pretty ran over me because I had a bad start since I got junk from a 6 card uxie draw. ugh

Round 4: Lost vs. Gigas lock, 2-2
He had his turn 2 Gigas and locking me while again I prized my only Claydol this time, and just kept pushing up basics.

Round 5: Won vs. Matt Alvis w/Abomasnow, 3-2
Another fast start to his rather slow start. He played down 4 Pokemon while Mesprit locking me and missed on a SSU 2 consecutive turns so I was able to Dark Palm one of his Abomasnows, and managed to get my Cresselia Lv. X out while he didn't so I KOed his only Abomasnow left, then the Promo Dusknoir took over. Hitting a heads on it's power helped me put an Abomasnow on the bottom, when he was going to evolve a Snover next turn. He scooped after I had his down 6-2 on prizes.

Round 6: Won Vs. Machamp/Weavile, 4-2
He had his T1 or T2 Machamp, but prized his Lv. X, but didn't play Azelf in his list. He managed to take 3 prizes but couldn't get it. He wanted to scoop early when I had an Abomasnow powered up and Promo Dusknoir on the bench. But I convinced him to stay in the game. Then he finally did when I had him down 3-2 on prizes, but he was left with a lone Weavile.

I knew it was going to be tough for me to get Top Cut in this one as my resistance was low, results are up and I'm 15. Hey would have made it if it were Top 16.

So 5 top cuts and I only manage to win 1 match in those 5. Eh, whether it was a bad match-up or bad luck or me being dumb and drawing 5 cards from Rowan it just wasn't my year to win a CC this year. Ugh, I really wanted a playmat.

So now I'm at 1685.05 120th in NA without any Battle Roads is pretty good. I might be in top 100 after this last CC gets reported in, and I get 7 points back from a double loss at a Top Cut, which they have taken away the loss from me but didn't give me back my points. So I should be around 1707ish. But I really felt if I would have won a couple more top cut matches I would have easily been in top 50. When I lost to Bigginz in Top 8 in Rockford, because of drawing 5 with Rowan, my next match-up was Chris Wood with his Kingdra which I had a very good match-up with. Probably would have won that unless I got donked. Then would have face Rob in the finals, in a close match-up vs. Rob/Gigas.

W/E hopefully they'll be giving out Playmats at States and I get a little more luck in Top Cut if I make it again, which I really see myself doing seeing how I've only improved my play each tournament because of the experience I have with my deck. Hopefully Galactic's Conquest doesn't hurt it to much where I can't play it because I really love my deck and would love to keep playing it for States. Especially now that I have the perfect list for it, but we'll see.

hey cobi good report...ya i still remember that match where you took 4 prizes against my T-TAR ...lol
see you at states homie.

Awesome reports Chris! Quite the busy schedule you had there! Was great having you in Rockford again! Better luck next time!

Chris....

You have definatly matured as a player and an individual this year. You had an excellent run for cities this year. Look forward to working with you for states.

Keep it going,
Jimmy

No I'm 100% sure you were round 6. I couldn't have played Vince Round 6 because I believe he started 5-0. I don't remember getting paired up. You were 4-1 like me after round 5.

But I lost to you that tournament. You were my only loss in swiss I'm sure.

But I lost to you that tournament. You were my only loss in swiss I'm sure.

No, you were playing AMU/Palkia. I didn't set up Claydol for fear of getting Palkia Locked and could never draw into a Moonlight Stadium, when you put my Unown G. I let you set up way too much, so you took a few prizes, and then I scooped when you took down my Promo Dusknoir with Mesprit. I remember scooping because I didn't have Dark Palm Dusknoir, which just gives you the match.

Hey Chris, seriously that is pretty impressive. You faced some fierce competition......we were at every cities you were except for the Fond Du Lac one...LOL Too many, but we had a blast ..... Can't wait for States.

BTW, we have 3 playmats if your interested in 1 pm me.

See ya in March!

Cheryl
