okay, its two weeks until Nationals and I still have no clue what i'm going to play. i wanted to play i deck i felt comfortable and confident with. but since i cant seem to find either I figured i would just play something to just have fun and maybe make my opponents mad with just the sheer randomness of this deck.

2 Torterra Lv X
2 Torterra md
2 Grotle md
3 Turtwig
3 Exeggutor
3 Exeggcute
2 Claydol
2 Baltoy
Trainer (25 )
4 Rare Candy
4 Quick Ball
4 Dusk Ball
4 TGW
3 Buffer Piece
2 Great Ball
2 Switch
2 Night Maintenance
Energy (16)
4 DRE
4 Call
8 Grass

Strategy is to start with either exeggcute or turtwig and hopefully start with a call energy to search for baltoy and someone else. having claydol out turn two is a must to get the engine moving. wager when needed to replenish hand and keep moving. with this its possible to have a fully powered torterra lv x by turn 3. and just alternate between frenzy plant and vigorous dash while powering up another torterra or exeggutor on the bench.

Rotom and Delcatty > Exeggutor and Claydol. If you do switch to this engine, take out Quick and Dusk Balls for Roseanne's and Bebe's.

i dont like sceptile or leafeon lv x because adding a second stage 2 to the deck makes it too slow and this deck is about speed

Without energy acceleration there's no such thing as speed in a Torterra deck. You can't get 4 energies attached without your opponent alredy getting his stage 2's out. Trust me, I've played torterra for almost this whole season. With Sceptile it's only 2 energies, so you can be doing 100 damage turn 2.

Without a stage two/LvlX this deck is too slow, with it you need luck to get everything setup. Sceptile is the better choice as you won't need to switch back and forth like with leafeon, and he also has a decent attack.

When I saw speed turtle, I thought of Blastoise. Then I saw Torterra, and thought, must have a Leafeon
or Sceptile helper. Then I didn't see any Leafeon or Sceptile...

I might try to make Magomotar play one more tourney, good luck with grass with no acceleration...
Now, how can I get Magmotar out from under the bed, poor feller is all shivery and scared....
