This morning my dad and i took a hour and a half ride to the North Sububans Womens Club. We got lost on our way since our navigation system in our car wasnt working right. So, we head to the gas station and see this hot chick at the counter and we asked her if she knew where the place way and she said yes. We got there on time and i was playing but my dad backed out because he didnt feel comfortable with his deck. I go with Mario.
Round 1: Devon W (Garchomp/Gyarados)
Very quick game, i went first with riolu and he flips up magikarp. T1 30= GG. He forgot to put down his 2nd pokemon so he got mad that he didnt put down his 2nd pokemon.

Round 2: Matt Alvis (Inferncatty)
I had just the worst start, i had in my hand 2 machops,3 fighting energies,and 2 plus powers. He starts off with chimecho and builds his guys up. I get something going with the castaway and his Infernape incinerated my both machops in 4 turns with that flare blitz and DRE combo. I drew a steven and had a machamp at that time and had i got rare candy i would have lasted much longer. Oh well

Round 3: Ashley Benett (Electivire/Raichu/Blissey)
I took complete control since her entire deck is weak to fighting so i took down her pokemon with lucario LV X. It was pretty easy but GG.

Round 4: Jerry N. (Salamence ex DF/Altaria ex DF)
Ugh not a good matchup. He stalls with swablu against my machop for a couple turns. I finally KO his swablu with lucarios feint and plus power. He brings out salamence ex with 2 energies and passes. I evolve into lucario LV X and kept close combatting him. When he used his dual steam, he just kept spreading 40 damage to 2 pokemon and i have everything set up. Once his salamence ex was down, he had no way of making a comeback. He brings out altaria ex and tries to attack with it but he forgot he had crystal beach out with the holons castform on it. So i just took complete control and i won on time with 2 prize cards to his 4.

Round 5: Richard Lucas (R-Gon)
He starts with holons castform and i start with riolu. I went first and used wild kick and got HEADS. I felt bad for him but thats life and what can you do =/.

I was pretty nervous of whether or not i would make it to the top 4 and so we will see what happens next,
1st: Chirs W (Lucario/Ambipom)
2nd: Alex Brosseau (Lucario/Empoleon)
3rd: Matt Alvis (Inferncatty)
4th: Ricky Berliant (Mario)
OH MY GOSH I MADE IT and there were a ton of people who had 4-1 records like 6 or 7 others at least. We were doing deck checks and i almost got disqualified because i had the older version of stevens advice but ness came to the rescue and he lets me borrow the PK stevens advice. Thanks Jason
So my semi finals round opponent Chris W and the judge that was watching the game was Marriland.
Ricky (Mario) VS Chirs (Lucario/Ambipom)
Match 1: I went first and we both start off with riolu, i took complete control the entire game with Lucario LV X. I got heads on the wid kick and it was based on who ever sets up first takes control of the game. However, i had terrible luck with the Team galactics wager since i lost twice in one game but i manage to hang in there and won.

Match 2: He goes first and again, we both had riolus but he missed the energy drop so he passes. I try to take over with riolu but missed the flip. He starts taking over with lucario and the team galactics wager but luckily i won that part so i took control as far as hand wise. But field wise wasnt looking too good. He made some misplays there like evolving his lucario to LV X when i had CC. So i make a comeback with Machamps revenge and start to take complete control of the game once again. He misplays at the end, he played celios to find lucario but he couldnt find any and then plays nights maintanence. So yeah i took complete control of the game at the end. GG

So i was watching the game between alex and matt and it looked like alex was going to win so i knew that i had to play him in the finals and well see what happens.
Ricky (Mario) VS Alex (Lucario/Empoleon)
Match 1: Alex had 3 mulligans which helped me in a way but i still couldnt pull anything going really. We both start off with riolus and i went first and i missed the flip on wild kick. Then he uses TGW and i lost the bet so i only got 3 cards and he took over the game. I had nothing on the bench and it was over.

Match 2: Much closer but i decided to go first and i took complete control of lucario and he couldnt get anything going at that point. But it was a back and forth game and i won with Lucario LV X. He never got his empoleon out and i didnt get machamp so it was pretty much a lucario battle.

Match 3: We both start off with riolus and flipped tails on both sides. He tried to get lucario from the quick balls but that failed. He plays TGW and i won the bet so i got 6 and he got 3 cards. He couldnt pull anything going at that point. He did have a fully built up empoelon with a DRE and a multi and kept delaing 10 damage with aqua jet and 60 to the active lucario. I had machamp as back up just incase my lucario gets KOed. I took down both his empoleon and piplup with auras sphere, so i took 2 prize cards. At that point, he couldnt make a comeback. He tried to get something going with copycat but that didnt get the cards he wanted at the right time. He had lucario at the end and i just went aggro with machamps dynamic punch at the end. Man great game alex. Hope we get to play again each other, sometime in the near future.

And so... i won a victory medal card with 8 packs and pulled some good cards in that pack.

- Meeting a player that lives by me
- Winning the tourny
- T1 Wild Kicks FTW
- Pokemama and Marriland for running the tourny
- Well organized
- Hot chick giving us directions on how to get there
