So iv'e been bouncing between decks, the first week I played Luxape becaus it was all around better then Blaziken, I topped 8 at akron and lost to Flychamp =/. Then I played Flynoir and....ya let's not go there. So anyway yesterday was Sandusky cities we had about five rounds with a Top 4 and it was time to roll. Oh im now playing old faithful (Luxape) with a Chomp and Ninetails tech.
Round one Luxape Vs. Random Sandusky resident.
I get an early chomp and Infernape aggro while he Is trying to keep me asleep with Lullaby but it is not successful as I keep leveling up or flipping heads/poke turning. Eventually I sweep through him and he doesnt get a single prize. 1-0
Round two Luxape Vs. Kevin with Honchcrow Toolbox
I was a little bit worried not knowing what he was playing but as we got set up my fears were lifted my hand was great compaired to his bad one. I knew all i had to do was chomp and luxray aggro so that's exactly what I did also I sparyed his only uxie because his other one was prized. I sweeped him with him only taking I think one prize. 2-0
Round three Luxape Vs. Nick with DP feat. pixies.
Now I knew what his deck was capable of doing as far from what i could tell as I was watching him against one of my friends first round. I look at my hand and it is decent and i'm guessing his was abysmal because he was struggling to set anything up. He only Psychic Binded me once and from then I went crazy sniping his Dialga before he can send it out and then Bright looking the downer material azelf pass he can't retreat it next turn so I kill it and sweep from there. (Stupid thing is annoying) 3-0
Round four Luxape Vs. A.J Schumacher with Gengar Tomb.
Oh flipping great I have to play against HIM, well anyway he gets an amazing Shadow Skip and switch with Tomb combo going while on the turn before I was tombed lock I whiffed on a most crucial energy attachment. =/ He has taking a very big lead while im holding a hand full of things that as soon as the tomb lock is gone I MAY be able to get back into the game. When the tomb lock ends I take three prizes to tie it up but I have no hand my bench is full and I have no claydol anymore END. 3-1
So now I HAVE to win this round.
Round five Luxape Vs. Brandon with Gengar Feat. Mewtwo
I was like fun mewtwo but I never let it Level up. He has a horrible hand and i have materials for Bright look right off that bat, he benches some stuff and then evolves baltoy I Spray him then proceeed to bright look it and kill it. The first couple of turns I was a scrub and blew through my poke turns so when he was able to get back into the game (No Spray left) he almost tied it up at 1-2 but I had a chomp on my bench with an energy and a Premier ball and Cyrus in my hand to kill his claydol. Also I wasted three bench spots with two uxies and a vulpix that did nothing. 4-1
So I'm in
but then my smile fades when I see who Im playing. Im 4th seat and A.J went undefeated =/ fun right?

Game one: He DESTROYED me enough said.
Game two: I got an god hand with turn 2 bright look kill claydol and power lock him the rest of the game/
Game three: Simialr to game two but no god hand, but what I did was kill the claydols THEN the tombs to secure me the game. He brought up his Fishy and said can you kill it? Next turn I played the warp for game.
Top 2 Luxape Vs. Hoolon Mike Collins <3 with Blazeray
Game one: I know how Blazeray works and how Hoolons works. We start off and the game could go either way but I bright look his Claydol and he can't draw into a warp or energy so I split bomb his bench so I can one shot anything that he brings up when claydol dies. He scoops shortly after becuase four energy are prized and he cannot draw into one.
Game Two: He starts with an azelf I with an active Uxie and benched baltoy then topdeck the chomp, I'm going first so I attach to uxie play the other uxie in my hand to draw some decent things but Hoolons hand was abysmal. 4 poke turn Azelf Sp radar and energy he over killed my Uxie with bats and lock up then I proceed to claw swipe then Dragon Rush for game =/
Great day, my first year in masters and so far this season I'm doing alot better then I anticipated.
