2 Questions about number of Energy.

OK while playing today I played against a deck that ran Gardevoir & Mewtwo EX.

On Mewtwo it says number of energy attached to the Pokemon.
Gardevoir doubles Psychic energy on his Mewtwo (so only needed one to do X Ball).

Does he do 40 (I had one on a Golett) or 60? (His psychic providing 2 energy).

Also on Haxorus' Dragon Axe it says 40x the number of Metal Energy attached.
Does Blend FWML count as Metal when its providing Metal?
It seems to work this way on PTCGO as I often do in excess of 200 damage with that attack.

On the Gardevoir/Mewtwo EX question - it'd be 60. The attack of X Ball counts the unit of energy between the two pokémon. In your case, Mewtwo had two Units attached, even if it's just one card [think DCE here, 1 card - 2 units].

FWML is one card that provides one unit, but 4 types at one time. So yes, for determining if you can attack and, in this case, damage calculation. So if you had 1 basic metal and one FWML attached to the Haxorus, you could use either attack on it - the Dragon Axe would do 80 with this example.

OK thanks, I thought it might be that way since I was looking at that topic about Holon.

I did put 60 damage.

BTW we had a situation where people were thinking that the Gardevoir in question could be doubled again (if they had more than one).
However it quite clearly says you can only use 1 of this effect on the card.

If you read Gardevoir's ability it clearly states that no more than 1 ability can be used at one time. :) GL
