Soslowpoke, I think you are right about Pastimes not selling anything, Im sure that you would keep a better eye on stuff then that. :thumb:

After interrogating scyther for hours we can only get "he got it out of a franchise store in Niles". I guess truth will tell when we see scans.


However I do recall seeing an advertisement somewhere stating 100 all-new cards... I didn't think Mysterious Fossil was a new card..
 
What an interesting little caper this has turned into. .... But then again, for all I know Scyther's list could be a hoax. :) (If so, I certainly didn't endorse it...)
 
well the growlithe is definatly not from vending... unless there's a vending growlithe that i dont know about and has the same rulings as this one ;)

just trying to determine if we want to post scans, or wait until the pr's have been run...

Something tells me some fake carders have been or did work on some actual cards. That or my spider sense is reminding me that I didnt put my parking brake on.

Ummmm GLPhil you forgot to put your parking brake on, and Im sorry to say that's your car is now starting to roll down the hill. :( But on a bright side of things the first Sandstorm Prerelease are in less then 24 hours away till we get to play with the new cards :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:
 
Yeah, the Growlithe isn't from Vending. [mouth is smoking from when he shot it off his face] ... These scans I have though aren't fake. Even I couldn't fake 24 of these in 24 hours.

There's a definite possibility though that these may be cards that Wizards made for Jamboree, but was obviously not released. I guess Nintendo found a way. :)

three of the cards i've seen... growlithe, duskull, and delcatty are all ones that have not [to my knowledge] been released in japan...

veeeeeery interesting.

the growlithe could be from jamboree, but the delcatty and duskull definatly arent.

and i concur with nick. these aren't fake... considering we both have the same scans ;)

Please forgive me if I sound rude, but quit ya yappin'. We here in Australia JUST got Ruby and Sapphire, and there's NEVER anything here. It's just not fair, so stop feeling sorry for yourselves with not knowing Sandstorm, and feel sorry for US, the Aussies. We NEVER have anything good here...NEVER.
 
I give a nod to what Ech said; there are actually 4 cards in the scans provided that weren't part of ADV2 (Growlithe, Duskull, Delcatty, and the Lombre). But none of hese are part of ADV3, Vending, or Jamboree (since they feature Ruby/Sapphire Pokémon), or any other promo cards. So where they came from is a complete mystery now.

Now I know for a fact that the Growlithe could not have come from Jamboree. :) So I'm guessing that this is a sneak peak of ADV4 somehow, or maybe Nintendo made these cards up on their own and we're getting cards that are Western-first. :D That's ANOTHER mystery that'll be solved soon...

At least, not until AFTER the Prerelease. I want to go in there completely blind, with the only knowledge of what's in the set given to me directly from Nintendo, namely, Shiftry, and the 2 Fossils.
