Actually, I feel the same way. I happen to be a heavy collector as well. If I were the World Champ, I would NOT sell something so special. It would be too hard for me to part with it, because to me, winning that card and keeping it in your collection to remember your glory as a World Champ is too priceless to sell away. To me, it's worth more than $15,000.Benlugia said:fine--whatever. nobody seems to see my way from a collector's point of view >_>...

Not only has he sold a TON of Charizard Ex, Rayquaza Ex, and Lugia Ex, but he got his scholarship money that he won at Worlds (which is a lot of $$), money for his stamped tropical tidal wave cards (especially the winner one that sold for around $3,000), and the money he got for selling his autographed deck that he used at Worlds.

im asuuming he spent more money than what he got fro selling them.

like i said--most of you wouldn't understand. its a collectable. why do you think someone bought it for that much? they are heavy collectors. if THEY won the card, i'm sure they would feel the same way i did.
I think you'll find that the boards have heavy populations of both, with some overlap.ryanvergel said:Most of us here are players before collectors, or collect to play.
