2006-2007 Modified format announced!

When it says it will replace the formats, it means RS-on(RS and anything after it) will turn into DX-on(Deoxys and anything after it). Same goes for HL-on. So, assuming every country has HP by now, the US, Canada, and Mexico(I believe) have HL-HP(Hidden Legends and anything after). Everywhere else(except for Japan) has RS-HP, assuming they've gotten all of those sets.

In the quote where you got this from when they say __-On they mean "that set and any set after it".

Does that make sense? Because even I am confused by your post.

Does the R/S-on format (that is not getting replaced) Include everyset from R/S to the newest set released?

or Does the R/S-on format include only the sets that where leagal during worlds 2005 (when we called modified format R/S-ON) aka R&S - EM

The same questions go for the HL-ON Format, is it every that was legal for worlds 2006 HL-HP or will HL-ON include everyset that is newer than HL?

This will be the third straight format with Ludicargo! YES!
Crystal Guardians is gonna totally change the game though.

So what are we doing for shuffling and drawing now?

Oak's Research, Admin and Copycat are all gone. Any ideas? Is it just gonna be a lot of Holon Scientist, Mary's Request and TV Reporter?
 
I was hoping it would be like this with all the new Deoxys d cards out. I'm stoked on it now.

This is going to be an incredible format.
 
Once POP has moved on to a new format, they don't support the old format anymore.
So asking something like "Does Neo-on include the EX sets?" is meaningless because there is no official answer to that question.
If someone wants to play an old version of modified that is no longer supported, they are free to make up their own set list and determine for themselves if they want to allow new sets or cut it off at the last set that was legal when that format was official.

Oh yeah. At Aardvark Gym, we occasionally do RS-on Unlimited tournaments. It's fun!
 
btw,there are 2 persons who told me a different thing:
1st tells:
briney (dragon) and celio(frlg) are not usable again after worlds,but u can still use the briney(pop2) and trainer kits2(celios)
2nd tells:
briney(dragon) and celio(frlg) are still usable even after world,coz they have been reprinted in pop2 and ex trainer kits 2.
so ,the one which 2nd tells me,has a conclusion like this:
even after worlds,briney (both dragon and pop2) and celio(frlg and trainer kits2) are still usable..
while the one 1st tells me ,has a different conclu like this:
after worlds,only briney(pop2) and celio(trainer kits) are usable

which one is correct?
