Give me a break guys, have the ones giving blissey low ratings ever USED this card?

10/10, it's the card to beat at BRs.

lol after reading the peoples responses. HAPPINY IS NOT ALWAYS NEEDED. Blissey's power is mediocre but its attack is just amaZING.Weakness isnt good of course fighting is bad but machamp cant OHKO you. They need 1-3 plus power to ko 1 Blissey.

OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE

Unlimited 1/10 Come on much better stuff in Unlimited.
Limited 10/10 GJ u pulled a game winner
Modified 10/10 T2 capability is great

It seems like folks either love this Blissey or hate the card. I happen to like it a lot.

Some thoughts,

130 HP makes her nearly impossible to one shot & that plus high HP basics make the line more resistant to sniping than some others.

You will almost never be attacking with just one energy. By the time you get your first Blissey evolved you will likely have 3, 2 from attachment on T1 & T2 plus one from the discard pile. That’s a minimum of 50 damage from just two energy drops. The damage scales too. I’ve had games where a Bliss ended up with 9+ energy and just steamrolled through the rest of my opponent’s deck.

The ability to abuse special energy can cover any issues the card might have for you. For instance if the weakness is an issue in your meta then Holon FF can fix that. Retreat a problem? Holon WP & it’s free. Boost is great for single damage spikes. DRE doesn’t increase the damage more than a basic energy, but it counts as two for Kind Egg. And speaking of that, Kind Egg can be a big help here getting your special energy out too, making it far more accessible than it would be in many other decks.

While Delcatty may be better for straight draw, Blissey’s Kind Egg is more of a consistency booster. The Holon Engine was fast and added a lot of consistency to just about every deck that used it. More than anything else that’s what I notice about this season’s trainers, that they just aren’t quite as consistent. Blissey helps fix that while avoiding the frail HP of Delcatty or the two prize nature of Delcatty ex.

Finally there are so many ways you can run the card. Blissey solo. Blissey as a tech. Blissey & partners like Sceptile Pop 4. Being colorless let’s the card fit in really well in many sorts of decks. Additionally you don’t have to focus on both the attack and power. You could run Blissey with no Happiny and Cessation Crystal and just abuse the heck out of the attack. Or you could have a the full line as a powered consistency booster for a deck that can spare a bit of energy.

So, to review, she’s tough, fast, and consistent. That sounds like a winning combination to me. The issues mentioned in other reviews are there. High retreat, less than favorable weakness, low damage when you only have 1 energy, having the power shut down by BF and Cess, etc. These are the things keeping this card from being perfect, but even with them it’s darn good.

Blissey is a nice card in theory, but it does take dedication to get it to work properly. At face value, 130 HP is wonderful for a Stage 1, but it does have bad Weakness in addition to high Retreat Cost. Its Poke-Power, Kind Egg, is awesome, but you have to evolve into Blissey all the way from Happiny and through Chansey. Now I'm not saying those are bad cards necessarily, but that's at minimum 2 turns you'll go without Blissey (play Happiny, use power to evolve into Chansey and then Candy it into Blissey is that fastest way I can think since you can't Candy directly into Blissey). Attack-wise, Happy Chance is weak initially, but can get stronger with progressive turns. But still, you'd need 6 Energy on Blissey just to deal 100 damage, and that's just overpriced, even if you can recycle Energy from the discard onto Blissey to accomplish this. Another fun way would be to revivie Blissey with Garchomp Lv X and get the auto-3 Energy onto it, but of course that's not out yet :p So yeah, you're probably not running Blissey as your main attacker I hope.

Modified - 8/10 (Solid card, but requires dedication to set up)
Limited - 9/10 (If you somehow get this out with Happiny under it, you should be able to win)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No point using this here)

Blissey is super-great! Colorless means it goes with everything... almost. 130hp is awesome. You can have this out T2 doing boffo damage. Happiny and Chansey are super stallers. The Weakness is not great, but *every* Weakness is bad these days. The Poke-Power is very useful but not over-the-top.

MODIFIED: 9/10

Rampardos can OHKO Blissey also.

What weakness?

*attaches Holon WP, attacks with Happy Chance, gets psychic energy back from the discard*

What retreat cost?

People are thinking about Blissey with a one-hit-ko mindset. Blissey just doesn't work that way. Ideally you do 60-80 T2 with a boost, putting you ahead on prizes. The rest of the game is just exchanging blows and staying in the lead. Blissey is so big that it has to be 2 hit KOed - there's really no way to get around that, aside from Infernape Lv.X, or ER2ing Blissey's Holon FF, playing Lake Boundary and attacking with a fighting type. So, since you don't have to worry about getting knocked out in one hit, don't worry about knocking out your opponent's pokemon in one hit either. Blissey should be able to reliably 2-hit most things while self charging itself with useful Holon + Basic energy combinations.

I think this card could do very well w/ 4-4/1 Delcatty/ex line.
Very speedy
It NEEDS to play 4 Boost though, obviously.

Let's break it down.
1st Turn: 1 energy=40 damage (60 w/ Boost)
next turn you have your energy attachment so
2nd Turn: 3 energy=60 damage (80 w/ Boost)
next turn your energy attachment so
3rd Turn: 5 energy=80 damager (100 w/ Boost)
SO, in 3 turns if it stays up you manage 180 damage, starting from 1 single energy.
averaging to 60 damage a turn for 1 energy attachment every turn. NOT including Boost.

When it hits the discard promote a Delcatty ex and sweep for massive damage and KO.

Add in 4 Pluspower and a few Strength Charm and you have got a beast of a deck.
BUT fighting is pretty popular SO not so sure how it would go.

Modified 7.5/10
limited 8/10 (if you get it, it has a GREAT power and nice attack and HP)
Unlimited 1/10

Rampardos is not an OHKO on Blissey. Hasty Headbutt is not affected by weakness. This means nothing one shots Blissey without Pluspowers or Strength Charms (excluding the miraculous Infernape LV.X, who deals 150 damage once, which won't save you from a Blissey Flood).

DoctormcDreamy, if you think it sucks, then trade me yours, please!

Unlimited: 2.5/10. I'm going to have to disagree with a lot of people here...I think it's a very playable card. A lot depends on actually getting it out, but if it can get past an Aerodactyl, then doing 30 for one (read: one/zero energy attacks are great for an energy removal field!), or better, is pretty solid when the HP is factored in.

With all that said, it still has a way to go from being an "amazing" card. One-shotting this guy is easier done than said in a format like unlimited.
Limited: 5/5. 30 for one is obscene enough, but potential draw, PLUS no visible cap on said damaging attack? Absolutely amazing (especially with that 100 hp basic =D)
Modified: 4.5/5. Beastly here too for the same reasons, only not quite as dominant (although much more prone to good combos)
