Mod: 8/10 play with magnaton pk and holon circle and smeargle (trace) ~
Peter(Blastoise-Shellsocker).dec ftw~

1hko against Moving Truk and a too big downside for the power.
Modified: 6/10
Unlimited: 0/10 Why play it if you have the Base set?

the card itself is soooo good IMO....great energy acceleration. Downside, it is a stage 2 that takes time to use. Right now, I beleive t-2-3 decks are the play right now.

Blastoise SW is our buddy Blastoise Base reincarnated with a few more side-effects. 120 HP is solid for a Stage 20, +30 Weakness to Lightning is ok considering Electivire isn't as played as much, and a Retreat Cost of 2 is average. Its Poke-Power, Waterlog, is nearly the same as Base Blastoise's Rain Dance, but now you have to give up attacking the turn you use it, which could hamper you. Hydro Pump does a mere 50 for 3 energy, but can be boosted to up to 90 for 5 energy; in other words, avoid using him as your primary attacker.

Modified - 8/10 (I'm surprised more Water decks aren't showing up and using Blastoise, but then again Blastoise lacks a real solid partner at the moment)
Limited - 9/10 (If you can get this out and you have a bunch of Water energy in your hand, you're in good shape)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Base Blastoise anyone?)

This blastoise is really good if you play it with a solid water pokemon. The only problum is that blastiose is a stage two and it's power end's your trun. Gyradose MT is the only pokemon I can think of right now that is decent enough to go with this pokemon other wise don't play wih it.
Modified-7/10 (if only there was a great water pokemon to combo with this pokmeon.....)
Unlimited- 1/10 (Use base set Blastoise it dose the same thing except it dose NOT end your turn if you use it power...)

You know, Manectric may be a good companion with Blastoise and Smeargle. Manectrics first attack is colorless after all.

At the cost of 2 turns you could use smeargle and a roseanne's research to get 5 energy on the first turn and then Blastoise's poke-power to put it on manectric on the second on a the third turn you can churn out 100 damage.

Blastoise provides solid support for other Water-type Pokémon boosting their attacks with the Waterlog Poké-Power. Use it each turn with Blastoise on the bench to add basic Water Energy cards to Lumineon (Lure Ring) or Blissey (Happy Egg).

Hydro Pump is a good attack, but it does not deal enough damage that Feraligatr (Energy Cyclone) or Lumineon can do with additional Energy. Ninety damage is consistent enough to get by.
