Pretty bad attack, ok HP, good ability. I'd say 7.5/10.
Trump card is particularly good if you run an opening Pokemon like Chingling, Absol, ect. You can just send up a useless Pokemon when you're in trouble, and buy time (if they see your plan), or get a free card (if they knock it out). It's too bad there's no other Slowking to mix with it.

To plebeiaprint:

If you keep useing Psych up, it does 30 the first turn, and then 60 until you don't use it, then it restarts at 30.

I'll give It a 3/10. People will be running Darkrai at regionals then Slowkings will not do good against Darkrai.

idk about darkrai though once gg get's one gallede out they can pretty much clear the board even togekiss, plus psychic lock prevents kiss

slowking is good if your deck relies on an unsearchable card, like candy, premiere ball, tsd, dre but waiting for a pokemon to be koed isn't that good, it's stackable though

Slowking...!

HP/Weak/Resist/RC:
80 is decent for Stage1, but I expected more from Slowking/Bro. Still there is no matter when Slowking is supposed to sit on the bench. Weakness is bad in this format. Electric is safer, but nothing can be done. +20 is normal and missing resistance don't hamper it ( it will stick on the bench ). Retreat Cost is bad, but there is Moonlight Stadium to laid it to zero.

Pre-evo/s:
Slowpoke GE: Only legal Slowpoke, and is somewhat useful. It has solid 60 HP, 10 weak to electric. That's ok aswell as is it's water typing. 2 Retreat hurt much but Slowpoke is and will be SLOW. Mantine can get rid off the RC, but you will probably use Moonlight Stadium/Phoebe to reduce King's RC if something. Rest is useless, but Thumble Over can be used if you start will Slowpoke(if you have W-energy).

Power: Thump Card
Meh, reason to use Slowking, can be somewhat useful but usually deck's have no space for it. Minun atleast don't need to evolve. Still this power is usable and Slowking may be seen in some decks...

Psych Up:
Completely useless attack, you just have no change to repeat it. Don't attack with Slowking.

Overall Slowking is decent Stage1, thumb card doesn't suck.

Modified: 7.0
Limited: 8.0

I thought of one more scenario where the Power is useless... if your Pokemon gets knocked out between turns, like from Magmortar's Burn or something similar.

So I say not a playable card because both of the best and most popular decks in the format have ways to make it a completely useless bench hog.

Why do people review its attack, retreat, and the such on a support pokemon? Does claydol get a 6 cause its attack and retreat are terrible? Seriously, this card is amazing. The ONLY flaw is having to wait until the opponet gets that first ko. By the time they realize what you're up to, they will have set-up everything in thier deck and smash you. Psychic lock is a huge problem. But overall, if it wasn't for the format being what it is today (back in brs this card would've been great), it would be great but as it is it only gets a 7.5/10

I am just going to say this strait up this card sucks
reasons
1 hp is to low
2 you can find a better attacker
3 you can find better cards that search for cards in your deck
4 the weakness would get abused by most deck out there

i give this card a 2 out of 10

The card can do some positional for some decks but not much if you would run this card at all a 1-1 line and no more. Other wise that would be a easy prize for the decks in this format if you run more.

this card is disgustingly bad. chances are with claydol, 1 of the "up to 6" cards youd get would be the card that slowking wouldve searched out for you.

This card is.... alright. Attack is kinda good, power isn't bad. This maybe will work with some deck but..

It gets a 6/10

I can see this being run in some rogue deck 4-4, and then some attacker. Think about it. You can Mentor for three Slowpoke early, and you only need 1 Slowking out of 4 in the deck in play by the time your opponent KO's one of your pokemon. Then the one Slowking searches for a second Slowking. Then you evolve with that and use it to search for the third Slowking, which does it again. Ideally it gets you all of the Slowkings out at once. The last one could search for a Warp Point or something if a Slowking ended up being active. After that, if your opponent isn't using Psychic Lock, every time they knock something out, you can literally send up a random basic and search for every single card it would need to be an attacker. I like the idea of Magmortar, Scramble Energy, Magmortar Lv.X, and what ever else your heart desires. If you use a Stage 2, this would probably be the Rare Candy. You can use any attacker you want to go with it and abuse Scramble. Whenever that gets knocked out, just send up whatever basic and use four Trump Card powers to transform it into an instant attacker. I'd even think you can even use multiples of different attackers in such a deck to counter whatever deck you're playing against.

I think it is possible. Perhaps Sableye CG to try to get around Psychic Lock?

Anyway, my rating varies heavily depending on how you use it, but I'll slap a 7.5 out of 10 on it, but it has deadly potential; a possible danger in the future.

Someone at our prerelease played 4 in a deck (for some reason he got 4, which is weird), and his record was 4-1. i played him, and he had 3 out. I knocked out his pachirisu, and he drew 3 cards. he won that easily because of that. So, this card, too me, only works good if you have more than one out.

5/10.
