Despite the hatred I feel towards all Metal Pokemon other than Bastiodon and Probopass, this is cerainly the best Dialga to use if you are desperate to make a Dialga Level X deck. It is better than the Diamond and Pearl version certainly, due to a gigantic 100 HP, a resistance to Psychic and the brilliant attack Time Shift. The retreat cost is appalling for a basic Pokemon, although the picture is simply awesome!
However I won't be playing this card in any of my decks, because Adamant Orb is nearly useless, hardly anything in the Modified Format is weak to Metal type. If you like the attack Time Shift you should use Claydol (GE) in your deck instead of Dialga as it has essentially the same effect, except it doesn't cost a Metal Energy and does not end your turn because it is a Poke-Power. Finally, why would anybody rate the Diamond Blast attack highly, when cards such as Porygon Z, Garchomp, Feraligatr, Salamence, Dusknoir and Infernape are more powerful and have cheaper attack costs.
Palkia, as well as almost all of the other legendaries in Majestic Dawn, are so much better than this.
Does anybody agree with my observations?
Please reply - I never get a response despite my best efforts
Fire type pokemon are awesome :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire:
You've made some very good points, but your opening and closing statements pretty much devalidate it.

It's pretty much equal to Dialga DP. If you're going to play a Dialga deck, use 1 Dialga DP, 1 Dialga MD, and 2 Lv. X.

Well i think the card is about fair.
I mean, 3 retreat is alot to ask for, but I think you
could ignore that if you was to run Magnezone..

The attacks are optional seeing as no matter what
Dialga u choose, its going to be lv x soon (id hope anyway)

I think its okay... But i dont ever run him in anything so
i cant tell u which one I prefere...

Nice card & the only interesting thing about this Dialga is its 1st attack. Otherwise, it is almost the same as the DP/GE version...

Dialga from md. This card is an ok card though I would never realy play it. It has 100 hp wich is about one of the few good things about this card. It has weakness to fire wich is not all too bad since fire has died down a bit. Resistance to psychic is good since all those g/g or Plox decks out there. That there just about ends all fo the great things a bout this card. It's firsta attack ls like Birch which alow you to draw untill you have 6. This attack would be better if it did not have to have a metal energy to pay for it's cost. It's other attack for MMCC for 60 posible 80 is not all that good and is over cost for what it dose. Fianaly it has 3 retreat cost so this thing is staying put if out in active (which also prevents this from ever being a good starter). Oh yea almost for got about Adament Orb which deals an extra 20 if the defending pokemon is weak to metal, just sad that metal is not a common weakness atm.
3/10 it's not totally useless though kind of close

its retreat isn't too much of a deal if you have Magnezone DP1
lol

that can be combo'd well

unlimited 4/10
hp on 2/10
dp on 5/10
Pre-release 9/10 LOL
Artwork 10/10

ok i give it becuse i like the draw power the d/p it does 10 and the new one up to 6 (4/10 for that one)

the 2nd attack DB it's a LOT of :metal: for a 60 attack it but does 20+ more humm ok but the D/P one is ok too but it's less :metal: and does removing energy with Flash Cannon will de-evolve, doing the equivlent of 40 damage, and the Defending Pokemon loses it's best attacks the D/P is better (5/10)

love the artwork!!!!! but the card itself is not that good....even as a starter.

art 10/10
card 3/10.................................................................but one day soon, metal decks will rise to power!

i've been testing it with snowpoint temple, magnezone lv x, and Bastiodon. it is a VERY good wall with two to four special metals attached. it let's you set up. i'd give it 9/10 in that deck. besides that, it isn't that good 3/10
