Yeah, Columbus is totally shut down. Andrew is sad because it means no Super Smash Bros Brawl launch tonight! Sooooo glad that our States was last weekend. That weather was perfect for traveling.

Good luck Ryne! I hope that you and the family are staying there tonight as well. Give them a chance to clear the roads around here so that you can get home safe and sound. Keep us updated!

To all those who wished me luck thanks. They seem to hate anyone who may threaten to come outside of the MI IN region coming in and winning. Several people missed top cut becausetheir percentage was messed with.

And just why do you think they showed favoritism? Percentage is done by the computer program and not by anyone running or helping with the tourney, If you are going to make accusations back them up with proof. If you have a problem with the way it was run report it to PUI. I was a judge there and i know for a fact that it was run correctly. And have a talk with your TO. I am sure he will tell you that our TO runs fair and legit tournaments.

Ryne - PM me about this. If needed, I can talk to Derek and/or his judges, since I am friends with most of them. But for now, lets keep the conversation about your problems with Michigan to PMs only (and everyone else), I hate to see this thread locked, when been having some good discussion here.
 
The judges did the best that they could with the system that they ran. I was a little erked about my last round opponent just plain out dropping after my last round. He won, yes, but it wasn't like it was an easy win, since our game went down to one prize and I only lost due to a stupid misplay at the beginning of the game.

You take a top cut from me, you better bloody use it. He ticked both me and Smeagol off with that stunt. Its not like you had to drive home due to weather or anything, unlike us who drove all the way out there.

It was a fun tournament and one of my best showing thus far (despite my 3-3 record) since I was running rogue and every one of my games came down to the wire. Started 2-0, lost 1, won another, then went on a 2 game losing streak.

Every game was well fought though. I have no regrets about this record as one prize would have put me in top 8.

Expect me to get my revenge at Regionals. ;)

I don't blame the judges for this, they only did what they could with the TOM system, and the guy dropping put a dent in masters top cut.
