If you play it good, with a good combination of other cards (Pokedrawer +, pokedex handy, BTS, ...) then it can help very well, because this card can search everything, also trainers.

8/10

THIRD !!!

With stuff like Claydols and Uxie, this isn't worth a precious supporter slot. Save it for Roseanne's and Cyrus (Conspiracy). Agree with 2nd poster... Feelings > Guidance. Just more proof that Rising Rivals is a much better set than Supreme Victors...

3/10

Because it's better than Mom's Kindness...

agreeing with above posts here , it takes up space in the deck and its a supporter... bebe's search , roseannes , cyrus conspiracy , guidance are all far better than this

3/10 due to still somewhat playable

What is name of this card, you think??
Cynthia's Guidance

Well I disagree with all of the above posters. This card is by no means the best supporter but it is really good at what it does.
You all are comparing it to Cyrus and Roseanne's (and might as well throw Bebe's in there) which are specific search cards and they are great at searching for what you need. However, this card is not a specific search nor should be compared with those cards. It should be compared with the Card Drawing supporters such as POV, Rowans, and even C. Feelings. Now instead of just drawing a couple of random cards with no control of what you get, this card allows you to look at 7 cards on top your deck and take any card you want without revealing it to your opponent. It is great deck thinning and non-specific card search and in the right deck can be a great card, off the top of my head the best use for it maybe in a DONK type deck like Machamp, Kingdra, or etc where you can use it your first turn (if going second of course) to find that rare candy or stage 2 that you were missing for the donk.
I think if people try it out and find out the best uses and advantages of it, it could find its way as almost a staple in many decks.

I give it a 6.5/10

A harsh trade off: looking at 7 to pick one... and I've used up my Supporter slot for the turn. Even at that, I may not have found what I wanted.

I don't find this an efficient use of the Supporter slot. You could do worse... maybe, but not much.

2/10

A beatitul thing in a speed draw engine.

OMG ... Just beautiful.

7/10 only because it's a supporter.

I like it better than Underground...

I suppose it has it's uses, but as others have s aid, in most decks out there, you'd rather save that slot for Bebe's, Roseanne's, Cyrus, Feelings, etc.

2/5.

I have no idea what everyone else is talking about. I have one in like every deck I run now, especially if the deck runs rare candies or pokedrawer +. It may not seem like alot, and it may only be one card for your once a turn supporter, but 7 cards deep even on the 2nd turn of the game should be able to pull out something (after set up, before the draw there is a max of 47 cards in the deck).

Just sayin, In my opinion this CoTd is being sold short.

Solid 9/10

Today's CotD is Cynthia's Guidance from SV, a decent enough card that would be used more...if it weren't a Supporter. Looking at your top 7 cards and getting to grab any 1 of them is very nice, but definitely not worth being a Supporter for; if this were a regular Trainer, I can see it being used much more, but wasting your 1 Supporter per turn for this isn't generally worth it.

Modified - 3.5/10 (Generally not worth it, better Supporters to use)
Limited - 10/10 (May as well take it, any form of draw/search here is highly valuable)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here, better options)

if your running a deck that has alot of draw cards such as a donk deck you should consider this card. Think about... when running ramp you could easily go through about 10-15 cards on your first turn... That brings your deck size down to about 25-30 cards. If your looking for 1 of your 4 rare candies in a 25 card deck your close to a 1in5 chances at getting it with the next draw. But now you get to look at 7 cards.

It's good at what it does without being broken and I think that's what everyone wants. Broken cards :). Maybe if they had a supporter that said look for any trainer, i'd give this card a lower rating.

5/10 modified i dont play other formats

this rocks in gyarados, looking at the top 7 to grab a 2nd pokedrawer or a pokemon rescue wins games.

7/10

The fact that it can grab ANY card makes it useful.

The fact that it's chansey (heheh) and can get only 1 limits it.

6/10

Cynthia's Guidance is a useful Supporter from Supreme Victors that is also one of the few versatile ones out there. Its effect is simple: Look at the top 7 cards of your deck, then choose 1 of those cards and put it in your hand.

Unlike most Search Supporters (like Bebe's, Roseanne's, and Cyrus), it allows you to get any card you want (not being restricted to Pokemon or specific Trainers). The disadvantage is, searching the entirety of your deck in using Bebe's, for example, will sometimes give you are higher chance to successfully get what you want, as compared to only searching from your top 7 (although being able to give you a Trainer is a big plus).

Compared to most Draw Supporters (Felicity's, POV, Volkner's), which can net you 2 cards or more, Guidance has the disadvantage of giving you only 1 card, max. The good thing is, you can get any card, and chances are, it's a card that you will likely use, as compared to cards that you get from random drawing (why would you pick a card that you will not use, anyway? Chances are, there will always be a card that you will use from the top 7).

Compared to Cynthia's Feelings, obviously the Feelings will give you more cards (whatever your Prize situation is), but still faces the same problem as the Draw Supporters- giving you cards that you might not need at a particular moment.

Obviously, Cynthia's Guidance's usefulness is increased as you go from mid to late-game, where the deck is thin enough that you have increased chance that the card that you need is on your top 7 cards. This makes it even more useful in speed decks.

Cynthia's Guidance is not really the sort of Supporter that will be a staple in decks since it trades some reliability for versatility. Being a Supporter also makes you hesitate to use it, as well. For the most part, Cynthia's Feelings is a better choice since it has more over-all usefulness. However, Cynthia's Guidance is definitely a Supporter that can get you out of a tight spot when you need it. I guess the only real situation when you would not use this is when you have several Uxie in your deck, which can help you draw the top 7 cards anyway.

Modified- 7/10 (not really as bad as say, Rival or Mom's Kindness. It can be a lifesaver when the opportunity arises)
Limited- 9/10 (any search is great here. The decks being composed of only 40 cards increases the chance of finding what you need)
