In case you guys haven't noticed, this is a sign to sell your Uxies now. Then, buy them back later once the price has gone down. Alternatively, you could send them to me.
 
I swear to god, if I ever saw or getting a Uxie MT reprint, I am going to cry hardcore and would contribute my Uxie MT reprint to the burn pile... But yeah, I'm aware that POP would not reprint garbage cards that'll anger players :p
 
As I said in the other league thread, this is an excellent development. Big ups to everyone who made this possible.

This is going to be awesome.
 
Sorry if I offended anyone with my posts. There was a mess with my college classes, and I've been way more on edge than normal. Therefore, I made a few posts that I normally wouldn't under normal conditions. Thankfully, everything's fixed now, so my life's more or less back to normal.

Once again, I'm really sorry if you found any of my posts to be overly rude/annoying/etc. I tend to be waaaaaaaaaay over critical of things when I'm under a lot of stress. >.<
 
this sounds cool i would like to find out what other cards there going to release also uxie was never really populer with me just he becomes a target when hes on the bench i think i like volkers philphy and witch snorlax is it a new one?.....i do have snorlax level x i traded uxie for it :)
 
As a competitive player and father of three players, I'm excited to see actually playable cards available at league, especially after the debacle that was POP9.

As the leader of one league now with another on the way, I'm saddened that there might not be any more badges. My younger players really felt like they were earning something, especially something that none of their other friends could have. I just hope there's a way to earn something every time at league like the POP packs along with something to reward them for a month of work -- like the badges.

Nevertheless, I'm excited to see the VG players getting some love, too. It should be an interesting mix at league.

You're younger players will REALLY feel like they're earning something if you tell them that Uxie is currently valued at $20 each. BTW, that's for the nonholo. If you want to make it all nice and shiny, then you have to shell out $30.
 
One of the other great things about this is that Uxie will still be in the format even after the rotation next year, assuming that everything prior to Platinum is made illegal.
 
I see not only league attendance rising, but also league participation! I've had some kids in my league just show up to talk to their friends and play other video games. But now that they'll need to do some work, I see things getting better!
 
This is exciting, usually whenever I win something at league I give it to someone else, because I have no personal need for badges or my XXth POP9 pack. I wonder if the artwork will be new?

That depends on whether it is a Black Star promo or a stamped promo.
 
I had heard a rumor about this at Nats this year but I was told from my source to keep quiet in case he'd draw attention to himself (He also wishes to remain anonymous). But my source also told me Claydols were on the way, could anyone comment on this or is this pretty under wraps?

Also, I expect these reprints to just be stamped... similar to the BK Promos.
 
Hey, am I the only one who noticed that it said a "LIST of cards"? Maybe POP has other cool league prize cards besides Uxie, and ummm ..... snorlax. :wink:
 
Is there still going to be POP packs? I really like them just cause you always get excited whats in them :lol: Also what snorlax is it going to be?

That may impress some of them, but that's only so meaningful if you can sell it, and a lot of eight-year-olds aren't going to be able to do that. Also, those prices are a bit inflated even now. Both regular and holo cards are selling for $15-19, and even those prices won't last long when POP releases thousands of them into the marketplace.

Many of the kids like cards, certainly, but I'd still like the chance to give them a nice shiny piece of metal.

Don't get me wrong, I think POP is doing a great job, and I'm quite excited for next season, but I'm sure that there will be some who will be missing the badge.
