Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

2009 US Nationals

Deck check 780+ Masters decks alone?

Yeah right!

Deck check was 'optional' the night before.

Doomsday24: Thank you.

I would have assumed that he would have gotten his deck checked anyways, especially when he had some trouble at the deck check at last years nationals.

lol robert i said i wish i played it and when you tested it it didnt play so well lol i never ment to say you played it cuz i know that for a fact but still i like the idea of the deck just dont like how evrything fits in the decks soo

Did anyone manage to get a final standings for the top 64? They kicked everyone out as soon as the matches ended, and I was told standings were never posted.

LuxApe won? That's very interesting to hear.

Senior winner's deck... Mother Gengar... I think Mother Gengar is going to be extremely overplayed for worlds now.

Awesome job Pooka.
Btw, for those of you who don't know...

1) Pooka/Kyle w/ Luxray/Ape/Techs
2) Darrell Moreno w/ Luxray/Manectric
3) Anthony Eason w/ Luxray/Palkia
4) Not sure what this guy played

Pooka and Anthony are Lafonte.
Darrell is Underground-but the most chill and humble Underground IMO!

My one prediction for Nats was that Luxray would be in the winning deck. Looks like I was kind of right. :p

Congrats to Aylam! I'm still 1-0 vs you though. ;P

4th was Karl Kitchin from Utah. He played dialga palkia win.
This dude has been cooking up wins since 1989.
He is 13th in the world, so you'd better learn his name there, buddy boy.
