By itself? meh

As a secondary attacker in just about any deck? 5/10

But In Gyardos? Love this card! No need to discard any energy, and it gives me a place to put my (potentially) unneeded Warp/Cyclone energies so I can use it as a secondary attacker just in case.

8/10 for Gyardos

'Nother Boistoise first! :thumb:

In Speedril or Gyaraods, this is a pretty good card (kinda a waste of bench space in speedril though :p)
Otherwise, useless, especially the crappy attack
Incredibly situational, would much rather use life herbs or (even better) pokehealer +, or (the best) nidoqueen
Actually, would be really good heal power in a Palkia Lock deck, use it then LZ it

9/10 in Palkia Lock
6/10 in Gyarados
4/10 in Speedril
1/10 in everything else

Second!

Blissey Prime. Now this is a great card. I personally believe that this is one of the best cards in the format. "Blissful Nurse" is a fantastic Poke-Power. Healing all of your Pokemon for the small price of discarding energies is game changing. Obviously there are decks that will find Blissey Prime somewhat useless but her potential lies in one (or no) energy cost, tank decks. I would be very, very, very, very, very surprised if Blissey Prime doesn't see play.

Rating: 10/10

And things get more refreshing with Blissey Prime!

So, 130 HP is great for a stage 1, but fighting weakness hurts, and the retreat cost is a bit too heavy.

So our main healer pokemon-wise for non-SP decks is Nidoqueen. We all should know what it does of course. Now, we have a new form of recovery (pokemon-wise) with Blissey Prime. Unlike Nidoqueen, Blissey uses healing through its poke-power. So here's how it goes. When you evolve Blissey, you remove all damage counters from each of your Pokemon. You may think, "Oh my Gosh, it's a Garchomp C Lv. X for everybody!" Sure that can be possilbe, but unlike Garchomp C (other than Garchomp only uses its power to SPs), you need to discard all energies attached to the Pokemon you removed damage counters from. Thus, this can be a big drawback to many high-energy Pokemon, and being only adventageous to Pokemon who don't really need energy, like Gyarados SF. The attack is not so bad though (3 for 60). Be grateful that DCE works well with Blissey Prime, and Expert Belt can make it do 80.

Overall 5/10 in modified.

This card can be a very decent, especially the heal power. The best card that can work with Blissey Prime right now may most likely be Gyarados SF. You really won't have any energies on Gyarados SF, so healing from Blissey can be done here very well. This also makes Gyarados a pretty big tank too thanks to Blissey Prime. The problem with Blissey Prime right now however is power-lock. Mesprit and Gardevoir are just a pain for Blissey, and power-spray also wrecks Blissey. Plus, sure Machamp can take it down easily, but because Donphan Prime may likely be played in states, Donphan too can easily take down Blissey. This now means it's a matter of time whether or not we'll actually Blissey being truly played in states (in which it'll likely be in Gyarados).

Fun Card!!!!

The x2 weakness is great, back to the old days of play.
Retreat cost is better than the other card from the set.
Attack cost for 60 is high, but
It's power is alot of fun.

7/10

I run this in a Feraligatr prime deck at league. When played you heal. then use fisherman to get and reattach your energy.

I am very surprised to not have seen the words "Donphan Prime" in this thread, a stage one that attacks 60 for one energy with the drawback being bench damage? As soon as your bench starts to feel it, drop a blisseyand heal them all. 10/10

I like how the Poke-Power can work well with low-energy decks. However, it is subject to Power Sprays. 3 for 60 isn't too bad, 130 HP for a Stage 1 is nice, and a Retreat Cost of 2 isn't good. Depending on the deck, I'd give it a 8/10 for low energy decks, 2/10 for high energy decks.

Actually, would be really good heal power in a Palkia Lock deck, use it then LZ it

9/10 in Palkia Lock

I lol'd. It would be terrible in Palkia-lock, forcing you to discard all energies attached to your injured Palkia, which is two attachments minimum for decent attacks (neglecting the bench-returning one that does 20).

And that's before you even consider that Palkia has access to Garchomp C.

In other words, using it Palkia Lock is a terrible idea. No exceptions.

I think this card is terrible in Gyarados. Ew. It is, however, amazing with Kingdra! Heal 3 Kingdra in one turn, discarding all of their energies, then aqua stream them back into your deck along with whatever amount you had in the discard before!

Today's CotD is Blissey Prime from GS, ok enough as a kinda pseudo-healing tech ala Pokemon Center, but overall just not that useful. Statwise, 130 HP is great (40 more than average for a Stage 1), x2 Weakness to :fighting: is meh, no Resistance is common, and :colorless::colorless: to Retreat is a tad pricey. Blissful Nurse is of course, the reason to use this; this Poke-Power pretty much mimics the old Pokemon Center Trainer right down to the discarding energy effect for all the Pokemon you remove damage counters from. Sadly, there's no Alakazam to partner with this, otherwise it could be pretty effective still. SP decks don't like it because it's not a SP (obvious) and the fact they have Garchomp C Lv X. Strength is meh at :colorless::colorless::colorless: for 60, not that you should be attacking with it anyways. I guess you could build a deck around this somehow, but it's just not super practical...

Modified - 3/10 (Largely another forgettable Prime card)
Limited - 8/10 (Useful here if only to prevent your opponent from taking a prize, and it has decent stats)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here because of Pokemon Center of course)

I'm surprised not to see any1 mention Meganium prime, because those two, are if any, good cooperation. You tank and attack with meganium, which can stack up to a maximum of 210 hp (e-belt and landmin lv.X) then, when you feel it's needed, you just move all energies from meganium to a non-injured pokemon on your bench, drop blissey for heal, move energies back and voila, you have fully healed, fully energised meganium prime again

I'd give this card a solid 9/10
