Eh 30 for zero is alright but when you don't apply weakness or resistance it doesn't do well against luxray.

3/10

And so for my 150th post, I will examine yet another baby pokemon.

30 HP is too low for basic, so it can be very easy to KO tyrogue, but no weakness and a free retreat is great.

So like all the GS babies, it has the sweet sleeping face poke-body, where if Tyrogue is asleep, it can't be damaged. It can be used for protection, but things like Dialga and Gengar get through it. 30 for no energy however isn't so bad, but the fact weakness isn't applied dissapoints me. Then, you put it to sleep, which at least activates the body. Still, this card can't do much.

Overall 2/10 in modified

Well, I will tell you this, I faced in prerelease, and it wasn't so a bad card there. Indeed, as an early game attacker, it isn't so bad, since it can 2 hit KO early game and it can 1 hit KO unluckyMagikarps from Gyarados decks too. But really, this card is just taken down by way to many cards. Shuppet donk goes through it easily, as well as Plox, and Gengar can just Shadow Room it easily, and Dialga G tramples it with its body-locking capabilities, ruining its possilbly only way for protection. It can't even really get Luxray GL that much, so this Tyrogue is unfortunetly a no-fame card.:nonono:

How can this even be card of the day? Other than in the Pre-release, this card is absolute GARBAGE.

Why would anyone use this card against Luxray GL? It has no effect! *This damage isn't affected by Weakness and Resistance."

COMPLETE waste of space in any deck, heck, I'd rather use Claydol as my Luxray counter than this!

0/10 in any format, no use whatsoever

quoted for truth

0/10

it doesnt hit for weakness, so its actually atrocious against luxray

lol I kinda want to make a donk deck with this. It's all right, nothing too good, though XP If it had more HP, this would be a viable contender, but otherwise it's stupid

4/10 in a lulzy donk deck
0/10 in any other deck (this can't counter Lux X because it's attack doesn't affect weakness XP)

I really want to use this card, but only because it has the guts to punch you in the face and go to sleep immediately afterward. For all intent and purpose, though, it's a pretty bad play in a modified deck.

I think that it would actually be decent if it applied Weakness, but it's much too lacking without that. 30 HP and the No-Weakness clause keep Tyrogue grounded at 3/10.

Wow, a baby card that does 30 damage for no energy?! But it puts you to sleep, and then you only have 30 hp so practically a basic can beat u doun

Tyrogue was the best guy at the prerelease. Got SO lucky on coin flips, tanked it out for like 5 tuns in a row. :D However it's pretty terrible in modified... can't really get much use out of it.

8/10 in Limited

2/10 in Modified

With an Expert Belt, it's got 50 HP, which is pretty good for a "Baby Pokemon". With that Belt and 4 PlusPowers, it does 90 damage for 0 energy! It beats Kingdra in damage output, and it's a Basic! Now that's something. The zero energy also means that it's very splashable, fitting in almost any deck. And if you look at the attack, it says that it isn't affected by Resistance, so the 90 damage goes for Gyarados too! With 2 Crobats, that's an OHKO!
Not to mention the powerful Body that gives you very high chances of the opponent not being able to hit you. :0
Zero Retreat is very good, and no Weakness is even better. No Resistance is sad, but Basics rarely have one.
9/10

/sarcasm

Seriously, it sucks.

so very very true it fails:nonono:

-10/10

no where near as good as the tyrogue from the neo sets, if they had brought the baby rule back into play like they had in the neo sets, babies would be playable. it has no role in this format, however, if the next format is hgss on, it wont be so bad as a starter/tech to kill other babies.

i give it a 3/10 for now.

5/10 for next possible format.

2/10

There are a few Pokemon out there now with 30HP basics, so it can get the donk, and when it works you can wall...but that's only when it works. It's far too flippy to be reliable, because odds are if it doesn't stay asleep, it's getting knocked out. So 2 points for that (unreliable) potential. If it could hit for weakness, it would see a slightly higher grade.

I think its 3/10 due to the fact it can do 30 for nothing but it is still terrible and has a 50% chance of waking up
