2010-3-8 Exeggutor GS 18/123

It'll never be a top tier deck, but I did make my girlfriend a fun league deck utilizing this and Togekiss. It would also be a good card in a pre-release

Limited: 8/10
Modified:6/10
Unlimited:3/10

Haha, this would make a pretty interesting rogue deck :p
All things considered, this card is decent. I'm just not overly fond of having to rely on coin flips for damage. Just remembering my Electivire Lv. X deck.......... I shudder at the thought of relying on my terrible luck again.
5/10, because I see potential in the card

My opinion here the Base Exeggutor and the MT are the Best if you are going to make a get out of it
but considering it can use Double colorless a 6/10

Wow, about a week ago, everyone was talking about Blissey's untapped pontential that it could pull special energy's from the grave and lucian's them back to more deserving pokemon. This guy can do it too, (more efficiently) and has the potential to lay on hurt it's own self. Forretoise relied on coin flips to deal damage too, and the same principle, flip enough coin's and you'll kill it. Coin flips are base on energy, not energy cards, so DCE, sceptile, and even Upper energy can raise its average/potential energy really fast. too bad it only has 90 HP. 8/10

Another refreshing card. It makes me think of Worlds 2007 and 2010.

Once again, 90 HP isn't too bad for Exeggutor. Psychic Weakness is a bit hurtful there, but a retreat cost of 2 is a little too expensive.

So, Exeggutor isn't truly that bad of a card. It may have slight potenital too. The first attack, just like Mewtwo MD, lets you attach 2 energy cards from the discard to Exeggutor. This can be a rather nice way to fuel up this Pokemon, as you should try running cards that discard like Felicity, Volkner's, or maybe Lunatone GE to put energies to the discard and then attach to Exeggutor. The second attack? Well, I have mixed feelings about it. The Advantage is that not a lot of energies is needed, and thanks to the energy absorption, you can get lots of energies onto Exeggutor to do maximum potential. The Disadvantage is that you need to flip, but still, doing 40 for each heads of the flip for each energy on exeggutor, which Exeggutor will probably have lots of energies on it, still can be dangerous.

Overall 5/10 in modified

Exeggutor is a pretty decent card. It can have potential to do lots of energy if you can keep up a good synergy, meaning, you discard energies through drawing cards like Felicity and then use Energy Absorption to attach those energies too it. The thing why Exeggutor may not really shine is because there are many decks that can outspeed it, like SPs.

Today's CotD is Exeggutor from GS, a card that hearkens back to the simpler days of stacking mass Energy onto something, the flipping for (hopefully) equally mass damage. Statwise, 90 HP is solid for a Stage 1, x2 Weakness to :psychic: is bad, no Resistance is common, and :colorless::colorless: to Retreat is meh. Energy Absorption is pretty basic, letting you attach 2 Energy cards (note this interesting does not state Basic Energy only) from your discard onto Exeggutor for :colorless:, which in turn fuels attack #2. Big Eggsplosion has a lot of damage potential; 40 for each Heads you flip for each Energy on Exeggutor for just :psychic: is downright nasty, and with DCE back in the format, this attack has the potential to do a lot (plus the first attack can nab them back out of the discard, something not a lot of cards can do). It's only flaw (besides the low HP) is that it's not :grass:...imagine all the fun it could have had with Sceptile GE otherwise .

Modified - 7/10 (Good enough to at least be rogue and a fun deck at league, but the HP definitely hampers it, even with Expert Belt kicking in another 20).
Limited - 9/10 (Definitely fun to use here, and effective with both of its attacks at almost any stage of the game)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Not much use here though, though still fun?)

This reminds me of Scrambled Eggs which used Electrode ex and scramble energy to have mass energy on him. In this format there are not that much cards which can do that so it gets a 6/10.

I don't like how it is so flippy. You have to put 4 Energies on it to have a consistent chance of doing 80 damage. Putting that amount of Energy on it takes time, even if you are using Energy Absorption. I don't like the low HP, Psychic Weakness is not great, and a Retreat Cost of 2 is bad for a Stage 1. 3/10

could be a nasty amount of damage if your good at rolling or flipping. 1 psychic and 2 DCE and your up for a OHKO every time. i'd like to give a deck with this a shot. maybe with Hypno HGSS, puttem to sleep them killem.
7.5/10

Summed up in one word.......FUN!

Almost like the Fire Red / Leaf Green one, but with a little more HP and different first attack. Loads of laughs if your lucky enough to roll heads every time. Also loads a laughs for your oppenent if your roll all tails. It's right up there with Octillery.......
