First!?
Its ok. the attck could be used to stall or snipe but weak

2 retreat is bad but hp is good for a basic

Lapras may not be the best card in this format sadly. The first attack is kind of okay. It takes advanatage of DCE and can do 20, but the fact you need to flip to paralyze isn't too attractive. The second attack, though, is slightly better. It can snipe, which is what's good about it, but I don't think it had to be 2 :water: energies though.

90 HP is great for a basic. Metal Weakness kind of hurts because of Dialga G, and the retreat cost is somewhat heavy.

Overall 2/10 in modified

This card doesn't have much use at all sadly. The only real good thing about is its snipe potential and that's just about it. Everything else is just not too good. It gets owned by Dialga, and here at around the Illinois-Wisconsin area, Dialga G is a really strong deck, but of course elsewhere, Dialga G is also played, and so Lapras can't shine.:nonono:

2/10

2 energies, just to attack, and 2 just to retreat?? Ugh... I think in real battle, this card would not last long enough to make it to 2 energies! LOL..

No, I would pass on using this card. May be an ok stall, and that's all I could see it beneficial for, but then again, I am not great at flipping a heads.

Good HP, good attacks if this was 2001.

Today though, 20 and a flip for paralysis is only not bad for a DCE-able attack. Ice Blade has a very poor damage ratio but the ability to snipe may come in handy for some decks, though there are far better choices for water decks(priplup comes to mind).

Pretty weak.

Lapras is a pseudo legendary, and he's pseudo legendary fail.
I only ever used Lapras in the PKMN Video Game as a HM mule, and that's what they should have used him for in the card game.

7/10 in Limited, SNIPER!~ and stall too.
2/10 in Modified, league player starter basic.
1/10 in Unlimited, just much better cards out there.

This card was BEASTLY in pre-release. I remember hitting Donphan 6 times in a row flipping heads on Beam every time.

90 HP is good for a non-SP basic, and Metal Weakness instead of Lightning is a plus. However, this card has an extremely low damage output. Constant 20s and 30s will not get you anywhere (except for a Belted Deafen), so this card will not do well simply because it does not have the attack power to consistently KO 110-HP-or-greater Pokemon. 2/10

More bad cards...yesh. Lapras GS definitely is a waste...statwise, 90 HP is nice for a Basic, x2 Weakness to :metal: is fine (since :metal: is such an underplayed type), no Resistance is common, and :colorless::colorless: to Retreat is pricey. Ice Beam isn't worth it at :colorless::colorless: for 20 and a 50/50 shot at paralysis, and neither is Ice Blade at :water::water: for 30 to one of your opponent's Pokemon. Really just kind of a waste of paper...

Modified - 1/10 (No use)
Limited - 7/10 (Big Basic syndrome)
Unlimited - 1/10 (See Modified comment)

It's not bad in Limited, but it's too weak to have any viability in Constructed. Sniping and possible Paralysis are both great tools to have in Limited format matches, and there are no Metal-types in GS.
