Well the first pic I have seen of the 2010 World Championships DSi XL is definately a disappointment IMO. I mean after last years great job of the DSi and then make this one yellow with siloettes...... Nice prize definately! but not very creative on the design......

Don't get me wrong, it is a awesome prize for those who earned it at worlds, but to me I think it could have been a bit nicer... I think I will be keeping my 2009 DSi and if anything just buy a DSi XL from the store in a bit nicer color.

While I don't disagree with you in that the 2009 ones are nicer, that is a veeeeery unflattering picture. They look a lot nicer in person.

Don't get me wrong, a free limited edition DSi XL is a superb free gift for making it to top 32 but compared to last years DSi I would have to say it is a terrible color and definately not as nice picture, And please don't get me wrong I would love to have one but to me the 2009 design is waaay nicer.

Agreed, the old one is nicer, still I like it.
What really bugs me is that I got a german one (asked for an englisch one too late) so I cant play english b/w on so I'll have to use my old ds and I and cant really sell it either. And the new DS3D is just around the corner. I really like the ds but Im not sure what I should / can do with it, why did nintendo put a freaking region lock on it >.<"

And it looks rather good when you look at it from above but from the side you can hardly see the picture.

I agree it is definately a nice DS as well. That is the one we are holding onto to play GBA games. I would have to say it has the edge over the DSi's due to the fact it can still play GBA games.
 
what shade of that yellow is it?

i am hoping its THIS COLOUR.

as it is one of my fave colour

I posted a picture of it in the selling forum in my post. If anyone wants to see a pic of it they can easily go there to see a pic of it.

As far as based on previous years. Personally I like the orange one the best, followed by the blue one. I would rather have a full color picture, but regardless it is still really cool. :thumb:

yeah, if is definitely the right shade for my likely, i would probs get it off the only aussie who made top cut. :p But yeah, thanks Zach.
 
Anything yellow is nicer in person. Pikachus on the internet are mean.

But I digress. I really wish I had gone to worlds now. >> They're still region locked, though?

All DSi systems are reigon locked. There's no way this can be an exception.
I'm sure everybody got a DSi that works with their reigon games.

Gorgeous system. I'm really jealous of those who got one.
