First!! I love this pkmn in the game and now even the card is sweet! The ability can for sure come in handy.
8/10

Interesting how one of THE most bulky Pokemon in the VGs has only 90 HP....
-__-

The Ability is quite powerful, but with the low HP and heavy retreat cost, this poor fellow is going to get stomped by any deck with Catcher in it, which is to say EVERY deck.

That said, Reuniclus pairs very well with Machamp Prime, who can save him in the active spot if Reun isn't OHKOd and manipulate the damage for Machamp Buster.

Overall, 8/10

If you're going to take Pokemon Catcher into account then you also need to take Max Restore into account. I think this may end up being a must have for many decks.

Definitely a very solid card for manipulating damage in decks with Machamp and Serperior tank. I do agree though that it's odd how low it's HP is, considering how ridiculously high it is in the Video Game.

8/10 for playability
7/10 for artwork

qft

The only problem with it is that 90 HP on a Stage 2 is abysmal and against garchomp SP, it will be sniped all the time. Once SP is no longer usable (which would be after worlds), it will be much more viable.

7/10 Tentatively, depends on meta though

Today's CotD is Reuniclus from BW...well it's neat in some ways, but mediocre in others. Statwise 90 HP is horrible for a Stage 2 (which is ironic given that Reuniclus has rather a rather high base HP in the videogame), x2 Weakness to :psychic: is eh, no Resistance is common, and :colorless::colorless: to Retreat is meh. Damage Swap is a nifty Ability hearkening back to the old Alakazam, allowing you to freely move your damage counters about as you please. Combined with Serperior from BW, this allows for some extremely powerful (if not extremely slow) manipulation to almost all but ensure your opponent needs to land OHKOs to take prizes (or otherwise take Reuniclus out of the equation). Psywave is nothing good, :psychic::psychic::psychic: for a weak 30+ 10 for each Energy on the Defending is laughable, but thankfully this guy isn't made to be your attacker.

Modified - 6.5/10 (An excellent component to any deck using walling/healing strategies, you can easily load up something with damage and Seeker/SSU it away, or use the mentioned Serperior strategy for mass healing across the board)
Limited - 4/10 (I would avoid him generally, sure being able to move around your damage counters can save you a prize here and there, but as a fairly weak Stage 2 without a good attack, he's best left in the binder for safe keeping)
Unlimited - 1/10 (Not much use here)

Great now but catcher will kill it :/
Needs 2 Trns to get setup and then be snacked from your bench by one of the ohkomons? No thx :/

This is old school Alakazam mixed with one of the first 3 mew promos...

Ala's ability with Mews attack and effect with the added base power of Ala's confuse ray and cost of it too.

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mew_(Wizards_Promo_8)

So it is a blast from the past on many levels. The health sucks for now days, the high retreat cost sucks. Overall this is a shadow of the past that wasn't even remade and wonderful in the slightest.

Mod 2.5/10 (Too many ways to just snipe him down easily.)
Lim 3/10 (Most things can OHKO him.. Not only that but he is a super squishy Stage 2.
Next format 4?/10 (Some big snipers gone... Maybe better usibility.. [At least old school Alakazam uses])

Don't pair this with any main attacker that can't take a hit from Zekrom or Reshiram.

5.5/10

Best Card in Set

10/10

I'm going to laugh so hard the first time I hear someone complain about how their opponent drops one of these and magically wins the game. Soooooooo Gooooooood

I just can't see it working, it looks good on paper, but doesn't play out that way.

5/10, unless you pair it with Wailord :D

Today's COTD is Reuniculus from the Black & White expansion. It starts off on a VERY bad note with 90HP, :colorless::colorless: Retreat Cost, and :psychic: Weakness. Oh, and don't use its attack. Its Ability, Damage Swap, is a star. You move around damage counters as much as you like. WOAH. However, I'm not much in the mood for reviewing, but its 90HP is too much of a drawback.

Modified: 6/10- Way too low HP.
Limited: 9/10- Pull this, AWESOME.
Next Format: 7/10- Pretty good, but HP is still minimal.

First, the bad things to say: 90 HP and Stage 2 :nonono:. The worst :psychic: attack I´ve ever seen . :colorless::colorless: retreat :frown:. Now, the good things: An incredibly good ability.

I think this card will see much play next season. Catcher is going to be a problem, but Max Restore can at least mitigate it. Reuniclus, for example paired with Serperior, might imo become one of the main techs of next year´s format.

this card SOUNDS as a revolutionary force that will make our game like alakazam in the past. EPIC FAIL. yup, EPIC FAIL....

back in time, alakazam was alakazam because in those times attacks cost much more to deal much less...

nowadays, reuniclus is OHKO by all decks in turn 2 or 3...ok i know, he should be on the bench only but.... POEKMON CATCHER... even max restore will make any difference, reuni is ohkoed so u wont move any damage counter...

plus, he is a stage 2...in the format bringing a stage 2 will be too harsh since rare candy became breeder...

i also know that "combined with serperior" you can heal and heal and keep healing but...guess what, they are 2 stage 2 pokemon in the same deck...and the most popular pokemon for the next format can easily ohko serperior: reshiram, emboar and zekrom with an easily obtainable pluspower...

it's not a fact that i hate this card, the thing is that i got dissapointed because it wont be useful because of the format's speed (which will be as disgusting as the previous one, even worse BELIEVE ME)

the all mighty pachirisu+shaymin+zekrom is MORE POWERFUL than the ugly luxchomp deck: it can do 120 in turn 1 with a 130hp basic pokemon...

a very useful card for keeping your active in good health or spreading your damage to heal with serperior(ability or other). when catcher is released though It can only hope there is some anticatcher thing.

Great now but catcher will kill it :/

You're assuming that they will get set up with in 1-2 turns and doing 90 damage, which can happen but probably won't happen often.

Yes, but you're assuming by that principle that you'll have set it up on turn 0, and your opponent takes more than 2 turns.
