FIRST

Best Pika in the current format. Can donk with shaymin and pachi, can gather energy without a flip, ok retreat.

mod 7/10

THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!

I've actually got this card. I pulled it from my first booster box. Marshtomp, that'd be awesome! 4 Pikachu, 4 Shaymin and 4 Pachrisu to ensure that you start with Pikachu and have Shaymin and Pachirisu in your hand. It's an awesome Pikachu! 80 damage on a 60 HP basic is pretty nuts! But x2 Weakness to Fighting, means you gotta fear those Donphan Prime and Machamp Prime decks. 1 retreat is great! But what why no resistance? It used to always have Resistance to :metal:! Why'd they give this one no Resistance? Guess if you wanna give it a resistance, you'll just have to Evolve it in Raichu. :p

personally, I think the black star promo is better for a few reasons..
70 HP vs 60 HP
rarity, available in a blister with 3 booster packs for $11 vs available on in every 3 booster boxes (more or less)
weakness, +10 :fighting: vs X2 :fighting:(only card in HS-on without X2 weakness)
resistance, :metal: -20 vs none
retreat is the same
first attack :colorless: requirement vs :lightning:, requirement is a coin flip instead of energy in discard.
second attack, 100 damage vs 80 for one more :lightning:

still a great card for the Raichu deck player (cuz I know those exist), but not that great when you factor in price/rarity.

he took my words right outta my mouth. however, what he didn't say is that if you wanna bling out your riachu deck then get some of these. xD

Awesome card, all embossed and holographic. It isn't quite as awesome to play with though. The first attack is useful if you have energy in your discard, but the second attack is too costly for just 80 damage. Low HP, low retreat, and a weakness that doesn't really matter since he'll be going down in one hit anyway. Just evolve it. 3/10

This card shouldn´t be used or maybe just to evolve it into Raichu. BUT: You can trade this card for many other good cards!

8/10 Little use for the play, but for trading.

The attacks are Okay. I Like the artwork and the Card Design though. 5/10. P.S. I Pulled one out of my four packs that i got for winning Battle Roads.

I would be too scared of bending it to play this pikachu but its not a bad that since it can get energy ready for raichu. not worth playing by itself though, the second attack isnt exactly great.

Well both of the pikachus Promo and this, can be used to donk. Probably together. Run 4 of eack pika, Shaymin, pachirisu, and DCE. So no matter which Pika you get you donk. Pluspowers and seekers would help.

Mod: 7/10

you can't really run 4 of each as they are all "pikachu" so... you can only run like 2 of each... I recommend only running the promo one if you are feeling bold. lol.

troll and toad has them for $10, so haggle for less. although for some reason I see them selling for $15 on ebay. it's really weird to see ebay prices higher than troll and toad prices.

Yesterday's CotD was Pikachu from BW, a fairly decent one at that. Statwise 60 HP is average for a Basic, x2 Weakness to :fighting: sucks, no Resistance is common, and :colorless: to Retreat is cheap. Energize is basic for :lightning:, letting you grab a :lightning: from your discard and attach it to Pikachu. Thunderbolt deals a modest 80 for :lightning::colorless::colorless:, though at the nasty cost of Pikachu losing all Energy on him.

Modified - 4/10 (Obviously too many flaws to ever consider as a main attacker, but I'd definitely consider him as a Pikachu of choice if you're running Raichu)
Limited - 7/10 (Average HP, but Thunderbolt packs a big punch for a Basic, could always unleash it later on; otherwise, you can also use it roughly every other turn assuming attach/Energize/attach)
Unlimited - 1/10 (No use here, way too frail and costly)
